A & J Doors

Horrible customer service. They came today to install our garage doors. The installers worked very quickly, which I guess was bad. One installer closed the garage doors for me and opened them, nice. when they left I closed them a few hours later it's not working. I called and they could not come back for 6 days, after supervisor now 2 days, regardless, this is bad service. I expect the day of installation it should be working and no matter what someone should come back. Very poor service.

Could not be happier with Art. Our door broke in a way we'd never thought of. We are in an area that has few (if any) trustworthy local contractors, and even then, you are at risk of being taken advantage of by providers who have little competition in the area or "shadetree mechanic" types who promise low prices but have little experience. Art traveled 50 miles and repaired our door before the local company could get someone out to look at the door, and the price was far below what we expected to pay through the local company. I wouldn't hesitate to call Art or ServiceMagic again.

After signing in with Service Magic, I got a call from Art at A&J Doors.Throughout our conversation I could tell that he was very personable and professional. Art answered all of my questions and concerns but what I really liked was that as an out of state owner, he was willing to do the work without getting a deposit from me. Now I don't know any other companies would do that? My tenant is very pleased with the equipment and with Art's workmanship. They were very affordable, they worked with me and they were fast.

They showed up towards the end of the 2 hour window, but I thought they were great. I have an older home and a non-standard garage door and he stayed late to make the new garage door opener work. And he did a little maintenance on the door and the door is really quite now. Very reasonable price for what they did.

I received quotes from 4 companies and choose Art Potts of A& J Doors because he gave me best advice and service. There were some sprinkler PCV pipes that were in the way for garage door installation, and Art re-located them without any additional cost. The other 3 companies kind of ignored the possible problem and not sure if installation would be correct. Art then did an outstanding job of installing the new door and opener in a professional manner. His price was also very competitive. I highly recommend Art Potts without any reservation. We love the new garage door wth windows that allow light in.

I had requested a tune-up of my automatic garage door. I provided my credit card number and access code so the technician could access the door without anyone being there. When the technician arrived they didn't have the code nor the credit card information. They called my wife who had to leave work and open the garage door and then write a check for the service. I was very clear with the person at A & J Doors that I didn't want to wait for the technician. A simple request got messed up and caused an inconvenience.

They were quick to respond with service and quote. Art was honest and serviced our garage door ontime and quickly. Got business cards so I can refer to all my friends and neighbors!
