Beware of AJP Landscaping! Our experience with Alonso, the owner, was a complete disaster. We hired them for a $17,000 project, agreeing to pay half upfront and the rest upon completion. Initially, everything seemed fine, but once Alonso got the initial payment, he demanded more money and tried to change the terms. When we stood firm, he threatened to abandon the project. Desperate, Alonso offered a $2000 refund to walk away, but we insisted he fulfill his obligations. He agreed, but the next day, all equipment vanished, leaving our property in ruins. Alonso disappeared, blocked us, and showed no remorse, even when we begged him to finish. His contractor's license bond wasn't even activated, showing his disregard for professionalism and the law. We're now suing him for damages and pressing charges for theft, as he even took our property keys. Avoid AJP Landscaping like the plague. Don't become another victim of Alonso's scams and broken promises. Protect yourself and your property!

If you have a straight forward job that does not require an arborist, they do a good job at a reasonable price. They do not have the equipment or expertise for really large jobs.

Alonzo was courteous, professional, and on time. I needed 8 big messy dead tree/plants in broken boxes removed from 2nd floor terrace. They first quoted me $600 which I thought was excessive. He said that he'd need to spend $100 on Ram boards to protect my inside wooden floors. We agreed on $500. (other companies quoted $500 as well, but I hired this company because they contacted me first). When they got here they decided to break everything down and bag it up into many small garbage bags and dump them over the edge where their truck was parked in the rear of the building. The entire job took one hours. $500 ?? I felt like I got scammed, and I should have said something. This was worth $150-200. Nothing more. My mistake for not negotiating properly. I would hire them again however, next time I pay by the hour for something as simple as this.

We just moved to a new house and knew nothing about caring for the yard. Alonso came out right away to do an evaluation then he was able to fix our irrigation system easily. He even educated us about what the different needs of the yard are. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because he has arrived late each time.

AJP Landscaping provides friendly, fast and high quality work at a fair price. We give them our highest recommendation. They removed a large section of bamboo, cut out sections of concrete, hauled it away and completely cleaned the workspace.

Love that he followed thru and worked very hard. He was trustworthy and I would recommend. I plan on using them again.

LOVE that he takes paypal! Very efficient; very thorough; hard worker; hauls everything away. I had him work on exterior and I wasn't there - he took pictures of the work afterwards and texted to me for my review. Very convenient and helpful!
