DO NOT hire AJ to do anything I hired him to enclose the back porch and front porch quoted $11,500.00 paid haft then paid all but $1,500.00 and he always said would have the crew come then 1 guy would show was supposed to be 6 wks a year later still not even half completed then said materials would be delayed found out never ordered windows that were put in my husband had to fix 3 that was fixing to fall out. Long story short ended up in court was judged to pay back made 1 payment and ghosted so I have empty savings account porches that are not completed and leaking roofs on both that when I can save to have redone will have to replace now molded wood. Nothing but a scammer.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Andrew is a Perfectionist. If he has a better way to do the job job he'll tell you about it. He's honest with his pricing and a pleasure to work with. He is able to cover any type of work you need. For my job he did electrical, plumbing, and construction. I will use this company again.

Henry was great to work with, communicated frequently and did exactly what he said he would do, right on time and with highest quality work. They took special care not to splash the seal material on my house or anything else that joined my driveway. Very professional company that I would definitely use again and recommend.

Quick reaction to a bid request; work started and completed ahead of schedule. Work professionally done; cost was reasonable given the nature of the work required (remove 2 satellite antennas and repair areas they were mounted, including replacement of some roof shingles.)

Removed 2 satellite dishes and repaired the area they were mounted, to include replacement of shingles. I got quick response to a estimate request and within 3 days the work was completed. Work was done efficiently and professionally. I look forward to working with him again on other projects on my property.

AJ's construction did a great job repairing the floor of my house.

I hired AJs construction for a bathroom remodel. Things went downhill from the first day. The demo guys showed up without tools or demo bags. The original agreement on contract was for AJs Construction to haul away the debri. I then agreed to dispose of the demo debri if it were in bags. It turns out, I had to put most of the debri in the bags myself as it was dumped onto my garage floor and left. AJ said the project would take at most 2 weeks. We are now at week 6 and the job is not complete. The original agreement was to remove everything down to the studs and that didnt happen. We also had agreed that he would remove all of the existing flooring which included several inches deep of concrete due to an old heated floor installed in the 50s. This portion of the floor was not removed and AJ used a self-leveling product, then layed tile over top. The tile is not level and if you look across the tile from the floor you can see how wavy the tile is. It seemed at every corner of the project AJ took shortcuts and blamed other things and people for things I feel he should have been responsible for. We asked AJ to use poly on the shoe molding and he did not. He installed the shoe molding and said he put the poly on but I am 100% confident he did not. AJ mounted a perfectly brand new vanity in a spot that won't allow the bathroom door to open. He blamed this on a vent pipe and where he had to install the lights. I told him at the beginning that we were okay with one light in the center if the vent pipe would not allow for two lights centered over the sinks. Our first vanity we tried had some mechanical defects so we returned it for a brand new one. This delayed AJ by a few days and I understand he was not happy about this. AJ was contracted to install crown molding in this bathroom and it honestly looks like a 12 year old installed it. There are half inch gaps filled with caulk in the corners. On the second week of the job, I found cigarette butts right outside my front door because my children were pointing to them asking whats that dada? AJ left air conditioning duct work disconnected in my crawl space for over a week which resulted in our crawl space being full air conditioned! This duct should have been connected to the vent that he had to move during the remodel. AJs team left the site extremely dirty daily and never once put down a drop cloth to protect our expensive and recently refinished hard wood floors. I will now have to refinish the floors in this area. The original agreement was for $6,000 which included materials and labor. I was to pay $500 up front, then $2,500 half way through and the remainder when the project was complete. I paid the $500 up front, then the $2,500 long before the halfway mark. I then paid $350 for some unexpected electrical and plumbing work that was not part of the agreement. Then I paid an additional $1,000 towards the balance at AJ's request because he needed money. Then I paid an additional $500 toward the balance at his request because he again needed money. I told him at that point this would be the last payment I made until the job was complete to my satisfaction. I fired AJ on 9-2-20 and told him not to come back on my property. To date I have paid him $4,500 of the original agreement for $6,000 plus the $350 in unexpected work/expenses. Currently the plumbing is not complete, the caulk work is sub par, the painting and drywall is not complete, the window replacement is not complete, the door wont close, transition from tile to hard wood not installed, air duct disconnected, not to mention several other checklist items that are either not complete or sub par work. AJ has been paid for the sub par work that has been completed and never will be hired or recommended by me again.

I asked AJs Construction to replace my shed doors. I liked the job at first but after looking at it more in detail I am a little disappointed. He had to replace the framing but after that replacement there were gaps between the brick wall and the 2x4s where there was not with the old doors. He made the doors and we had bought the paint and forgot to get paint for metal so he went and bought primer and repainted the doors but after looking at the doors in some spots it was showing the brown spots again. Then after he hung them they were uneven. He said the shed was not pulp which I can believe that so he worked on them and said he got them the best he could but now I have gaps with the framing and wall and between the doors when they are closed. He rapped the doors in metal and cut the metal on the doors with tin snips which left jagged edges and were not covered up. I did like his design of the doors. He put a lock on the doors and had to put blocks of wood on them to put the lock on the door but the cuts he made on the blocks were off and one door has a bigger gap than the other and did not paint the underside of the blocks. I believe he could have done a better job on the whole project because it seemed that he was in a hurry to get the job done and maybe that is why it did not.

EXTREMEY poor customer service. WALKED OFF THE JOB--left the job not even half finished. We pointed out some unsatisfactory work-and instead of saying that he would fix it, he left and never came back. Our deck railings were old and needed replaced. He told us that he would have a crew to come out and **knock-it-out** in 3 or 4 days. We signed a contract and gave him half of the total cost up front. There are some sagging boards on the front--which he was aware of!--because he added $400 to the original price to jack that part up and put new 6X6 posts there...Then after he started the job--he told us that to fix the sagging part would be $3500 more! We said no--and after that it seemed that he was no longer interested. There was someone here sporadically to do the work He sent ONE worker-never saw a CREW (that one man did do a GREAT job Even though he did not provide the worker with all the proper tools--We had to lend him a hammer (which they broke), we even had to lend him an extension cord. The day after he STORMED OFF, his worker called us to apologize--which was appreciated-but I told him that it should be the boss who called us. Andrew did call a little later--and was unapologetic--saying that we were trying to tell him how to do his job...and that he had told us that there would be a final walkthrough--we told him that we had pointed out unacceptable work that could easily be fixed before the final walk through--easier fixed now instead of after it was done. I reminded him that WE were the customer-and that we were not satisfied with some of the work that had been done. He continued to say that basically it was our fault that he left. I reminded him how very UNPROFESSIONAL it was for him to leave in the manner he did--saying to his worker **come on we are done here** I asked him if he was coming back and he said no. We hung up--and just a few minutes later he called back with an entirely different attitude and tone of voice--and actually apologized--which was the FIRST time that he admitted that his actions were wrong. I asked him to send me an email saying that he was not returning. which he did. I thought we were hiring someone reputable-he did have good references- but our experience was TERRIBLE! Now we are out the money that we gave him--and still need to find someone to finish the job. At least he left some of the wood that he had bought for the job... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
