100% poor customer service. We contacted Joel about a home improvement project. Specifically, install a 12x14 concrete slab and gravel subfloor. Also, install heavy duty storage garage on concrete foundation when dry. Joel answered our request for a quote on 10 Sept (in person site visit). Joel gave us a quote. Quote accepted by us and work start dates discussed. Joel estimated 26 Sept or the next week in Oct. Project start date and requirements accepted by both. 26 Sept texted A K Construction for start date update. No response. 29 Sept I called AK Construction, Joel answered. I asked for a update on starting, and if they were still doing the project. Joel responded stating they were a little behind and that they still plan to do the project. Joel continued, next week he would contact me with specifics. No updates ever received. I called Joels business phone on 11 Oct. It went to voicemail. I asked them to confirm if they are still doing the project as I need some type of start date. No response of any form. AK Construction left me hanging waiting for a month with no work performed. They did not honor their own Quote/Commitment, nor did they care about customer service or simple communication. I do not recommend AK Construction of Wichita KS for any services. Poor Business, Poor Customer Service!
