Andre and his crew did an outstanding job rebuilding my old wood deck and replacing it with Trex decking. His communication was excellent. He clearly explained issues that were discovered in the process of tearing down the old deck. The crew was polite, efficient and did a great job cleaning up after, leaving the job site impeccable. Our family recently purchased a 1900 built multi-family in central Mass. Due to some neglect on the part of the former owner, the two story porch in the front of the house had fallen into disrepair. We searched online and found AK General Services. Andre and the team built us a beautiful, sturdy, natural wood structure that provides everything we could ask. We hired AK General Services to finish our basement room. They completed everything in a timely manner and were very good about communicating and ensuring that we got what we wanted, including installing new electrical outlets and recessed lighting. Had our deck stripped, light sanded, and restained. Not what we were expecting (we should have told we need restoration). But overall we liked the result of their work with high quality paints and stains they used. Would definitely would be looking forward to have business again with this kind and considerate people.

AK General Services came recommended to me by friends who have used his services. Andre arrived and gave us a quote for several projects last summer. Since our initial visit we have had a new roof installed, followed by whole-house windows, and finally our new TimberTech deck. His crew always arrived when expected and really were a pleasure to work with. We jointly deferred the work being done from the Fall to the Spring due to the cold weather coming in too quickly, and as soon as it was warm enough in March the work began as planned. Andre came to our house after each job was completed, and throughout the process to review the work being done, and making sure it was being done with our specific preferences in mind. He asked for feedback and encouraged me to reach out with any questions or concerns. His employees had a great attitude and were always very pleasant. Once the weather cooperated, it went accordingly and I'm very pleased with the outcome. We plan to use them again to finish up a few projects. Pricing was great and transparent.
