First, I was impressed with HomeAdvisor who found me someone to fix a seriously dripping faucet on the same day. I didnâ t have to search companies online and make repeated phone calls. Second, The company they found, Altamont, sent out a nice young man who kept at it till he found the problem and fixed it. The price was fair.

Made the mistake of paying this guy $750 before the job was done. He told me that he had to order a faucet and would be back to install it. He never returned and refused to return my calls. Three and a half months later, he has absconded without any trace. This man is a thief with no integrity whatsoever. Another plumber in town says this is a common complaint with Altamont Plumbing.
