It seemed to go just fine until it came time for Matt to remember that he still needed to stain the deck. The work was completed at the end of October 2024. He told me that staining would have to come once the snow had melted. I didn't have a problem with that and paid him. I had his word in text that he'd return to finish. I contacted hime on June 21, 2025 to ask him when they would be doing the staining. He said that he that the job was complete. I reminded him that he said he'd stain once the snow was finished. He said he'd check the invoice and get back to me. I told him ok and that I had all of our text messages saved and could send him a copy of that as well. He never responded. On June 25, 2025, since I hadn't heard anything from him yet, I sent him a text message asking him if he'd reviewed the invoice and no response. I sent a copy of the same text on June 28, 2025 and he responded with a yes they will do it but I had to be scheduled in due to the job he was currently working on. I said not a problem as long as it gets done. He told me he'd reach out in a few days to schedule. I didn't hear from him. On July 15, 2025 and July 18, 2025, I sent him the same text message asking him when they'd be able to get to the deck and that some parts were loose. He didn't respond until the July 18th. text and said he'd be there next Thursday, July 24, 2025, and I said ok. He never showed and never communicated that he wasn't coming. I called him on Friday, July 25, 2025 asking about the no show and could he please get in touch with me. No response. I called again on July 28, 2025 and left a message. He still hasn't responded.

Matt and his helper came and replaced a sliding glass door with a French double door that was not a straight forward standard install. It took a little longer than expected, but the job got done and came out well and he honored his estimate. Will use again in the future.

Was quoted a price. Matt was very transparent and came on time with his coworker Chris and they both started right away. Made sure they cleaned everything up on the way out …it took him not even four hours. Great work I would use them again.

This pro had to come in and fix the disaster of my front stoop, created by another handyman. He was terrific in fixing the damage.

Matt was very reasonable, efficient and removed all debris and cleaned the area of the project. He was on time, high quality work and specific to the work project. I am pleased.

Matt and his crew were friendly and honest, demonstrating a genuine willingness to work. However, their attention to detail left something to be desired. We encountered issues such as paint extending beyond the intended areas onto floors and stairs. The trim they installed had noticeable gaps and was not the correct size to match the existing trim in the house. They did return to address some of these issues, but there were still areas that required my attention to fix properly. In addition to the initial work, they also performed other handyman tasks around the house. While Matt's pricing was very reasonable and my overall experience wasn't negative, I believe there is room for improvement in meeting homeowner expectations for task completion.

I intend to use Matt as go to guy for other jobs. My deck can out great

The contractor scratched my wood flooring while painting. They are not dependable and they lied.

When Matt says he'll be there for 9, he's there at 9. And when he shows up, he shows up with everything he needs to do the job. He and his crew are diligent, courteous, and dedicated to doing the best job that they can. Their pricing is more than fair. They aren't there to gouge their clients, they're there to do a job and do it well. Matt is going to post a picture of our screen porch, which he and his crew just rescreened for us. We're looking forward to spending many years in this now usable outdoor living space! Thank you, Matt!
