Nick was an incredible contractor, start to finish. This was our first time renovating and he was transparent, accommodating, and detail-oriented, often suggesting things that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. That being said, it never felt that Nick was trying to upsell us (in fact, he worked hard to save us money when he could.) When we first met with him, he understood exactly what we wanted and kept an impressive mental list of all the things we wanted. He frequently checked in with us to get our opinion and make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. In addition to all of that, Nick and his team were FAST. They kept to their timeline and were working on our house around the clock, despite competing demands and permitting holdups. Our renovation completely transformed our home and turned out better than we ever imagined. Nick was a dream to work with—we can’t recommend him enough!

Nick did an incredible job on our dining room accent wall with picture frame molding. I’m very selective about who I work with, and he exceeded expectations from start to finish. He offered a free on-site visit, was extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. His communication was clear and consistent, which I really appreciated. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything looks clean, precise, and beautifully done. He truly made my vision come to life. His pricing was also very reasonable. I’m already looking forward to working with him on future projects—highly recommend!

Nick, Apelles Construction, provided a detailed estimate for the complete renovation of our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house. The work primarily consisted of a new kitchen, new baths, hardwood floors, and painting. Apelles completed the work within the six week timeframe that was promised. They also did some and work along the way. Nick, is a very talented contractor. He is also creative. Nick planned and approached his work in an organized manner and demonstrated a superb talent - that we were not expecting. Nick and his crew were conscientious, neat, and organized. They always demonstrated a pleasant demeanor.

We started with the upstairs kitchen and then hired him to install vinyl plank flooring throughout the 2nd floor as well. On the 1st floor, we wanted sound proofing and replacement of the living room ceiling which was unrepaired from the previous owner. I wish I had him do the upstairs bathroom but used someone else before contacting Appelles. I have more work do be done next summer and will use him again. Highly professional and knowledgeable.

Excellent company. Nick and his crew were very clean, thorough, had amazing attention to detail, and most importantly showed up every single day. They got the job done and extremely quick time frame. I have a recommend them to anyone. They are by far the best contractors I've ever hired. It's very rare the way people show up when they tell you they're going to show up but he exceeded our expectations. We hired Nick (again!) to repair and refinish our basement after we had water damage from a storm, and once again he exceeded our expectations. He installed new floors, built new walls, and made the space look even better than before. Nick was dependable, fast, and communicated clearly throughout the process. What really stood out was how Nick and his team went above and beyond — even taking the time to help us troubleshoot where the water was coming from.
