I would hope that we would screen these people off of HomeAdvisor. I know they pay each month. I know he could do a simple job to rectify the problem. If hes willing to do that, it would be fine. I will even pay for the fertilizer, all he has to do is do the job.

I hired a man shortly before Christmas for a small job and I was satisfied. While there I showed him 2 other small jobs and he quoted me a price or $300 for both jobs. I hired him in February to do these jobs and then charged me $400 for 3 hours work. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I will never hire or recommend this handyman to anybody else.
