Alex and his team did an excellent job with finishing our basement. We added multiple rooms, a kitchenette/wet bar area, and 2 new bathrooms. They were efficient, timely, and everything was executed flawlessly. Will be hiring them again whenever a need arises! Their prices were also fair compared to a few other quotes we received. Great quality at a great price.

I highly recommend Alex and his team. APX Home Improvement did marvelous work with several renovations to my house. Alex consulted closely with me on a number of options and made numerous helpful suggestions, creating an outcome that was even better than I originally envisioned. The finished basement has been transformed into a larger and attractive living space. APX did an excellent job with renovations on the basement, an addition, the stairwell, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and replaced windows, numerous internal and external doors, and over half the flooring in the house. Their exterior work on the patio was the same high quality as the interior work. And the price was very affordable. I am delighted with the results.

Alex figured out our taste right away and made great suggestions. He was very involved and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. His workers were careful, diligent, and got the job done way ahead of schedule. He will be our choice for any future projects.

Definitely recommended! Alex (the company manager) was very honest in helping us determine which repairs were necessary from an inspection report of our new place, unlike other contractors. He was flexible to our changing requests and his partner Sara was always responsive and helpful. The job was completed quickly, with good quality, and pricing was reasonable.

Alex and his team are fantastic. They renovated our DC rowhouse kitchen, and we couldnâ t be more pleased. Alex was able to figure out creative solutions to our small space (moving pipes, adding a fake beam, making use of empty space, etc.). And his employees are very talented. The carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, cabinet installation, and overall attention to detail was top notch. They showed up nearly every day by 8am and worked until 5pm. Incredible work ethic all around. I would highly recommend using them for your next home remodeling project.

Alex and Sara were great to work with. Alex is very detailed and has a good vision for the overall project. I actually had them put flooring and a barnwood wall in the sunroom first. Instead of putting joint pieces up. Alex had them cut the boards exactly to the corners. It looks FANTASTIC! I also gutted the bathroom in the basement and the guys did great work. The workers were friendly and were not lazy. The rest of the basement was pretty straight forward. By the time I purchased all the materials, the cost was more than I had anticipated, but the quality of the work made it worth not choosing the cheapest option. I plan to hire APX again for a job next spring.

Alex and his team are amazing!! Right off the bat I vibed with Alex and Sara. Our job was adding a small kitchen in our basement. They werenâ t the cheapest of the contractors I met with, but Iâ m glad I went with them. They are worth every. single. penny. Alex and his crew did a phenomenal job I can't say enough how well they executed their work. It was exceptional and the fact that they provided solutions instead of just trying to provide what I thought I wanted was a key factor One of the contractors, Nelson, was a phenomenal guy who did great work on a stairwell that we were converting from carpet to hardwood. I would definitely hire them again. The pricing and the timelines were what we discussed and the attention to detail was wonderful. The job want finished until we were satisfied with the end product and we were completely satisfied.
