I called A Pro Home Inspections to schedule an inspection. They quoted me a price for an inspection and a higher price to add an air-quality test if it were needed. They sent me an e-mail thanking me for trusting them with my inspection. They sent me another e-mail reminder for my inspection appointment and giving me the procedure for canceling my inspection if necessary. They sent an inspector who did an inspection. The inspector told me after inspecting my crawl space that there was mold in my crawl space around the area of my improperly-installed vaper shield (btw-he has a side business to repair vapor shields-so he gave me a quote on that). I specifically asked whether there was mold on my supports or flooring because I was concerned that it was getting in the house. He told me no, but recommended the air-quality test to be sure so he did an air-quality test. I called in the following day to pay my bill and paid the higher amount as I had agreed to the air-quality test. At that time, they told me my air-quality test results were in and e-mailed them to me, along with another e-mail thanking me for trusting them with my inspection. They gave me the inspector's direct line to contact him to interpret the results. I reached out to him for the interpretation and never heard back from him. I then had a mold-remediation company come in to give me an estimate on getting rid of the mold. After the mold-remediation company showed me pictures of my crawl space with mold on my supports and flooring, I reached back out to A Pro to express my displeasure with their services. At that time, they took the position that I had never scheduled an inspection, was never to receive an inspection and that I had not paid for an inspection. If I could give less than a half-star review, I would.

The inspection was extremely thorough and was presented in a way that was easy to understand. The results were emailed to me the same afternoon of the inspection and the hard bound copy was given to me within a couple of days. All calls were returned in a very timely manner and all my questions were answered so that I understood completely any issues the house may have. There were none of those last minute hidden fees, all costs were given to me up front. This was a great experience when it comes to home inspection.
