About us
Customer satisfaction is what determines our success, which is why we take a hands-on approach. When interacting with A Quality 1 Outdoor Services, you'll notice that we're particularly focused on the principles of quality workmanship, timely completion, competitive pricing and integrity in all our business dealings. Fully insured with general liability and workman’s comp. All agreed jobs have a 10% cancellation fee up to 5 days after agreement. There is a 20% cancellation fee after 5 days of agreement or after starting the project. On the cancellation fee is the total of the complete project. Change of order on projects are priced out as follows. $400 for a change order with less than 50% of project and $800 for over 50% of project agreement. Free estimates are on the first order given. Plant and tree warranties are applied only if we put in and water supply is already installed. Can not cover any plants or trees if they are not taken care of.

When the job was completed, I noticed a number issues with the installation. Exposed hoses for drip irrigation system, gaps between the sod blocks, ridges in the sod, and sod left over curbs and blank spots where there should be sod. I tried for 5 days to get in touch with the primary contact I was given. After 5 days I finally got a text message saying that he was out of town. Soon after that I got a call from one of his company reps. He came by the next day and has started on making the corrections needed. I will rewrite the review when the work is done to my satisfaction which the company seems to be properly responding to.

After giving a 5-star rating initially and walking out and really looking and checking the work, we found that it was not what we had expected. Now we are having to have professionals who really do install synthetic grass, and they have to redo the whole thing now.

Update 3 months later: Several of the plants are dead, despite our efforts to take care of them. Apparently, there is no guarantee on plants. * But most importantly, we find ourselves in the middle of a legal action taken by one of Lonnieâ s suppliers. Apparently a check written for some supplies for our project bounced And the supplier is threatening to put a lien on our home if payment is not made. We paid A Quality 1 in full and are now faced with paying additional money in order to prevent a lien on our house. Would not hire A Quality 1. Original review: Lonnie was such a great find! He knows plants and what works in the yard. He provided a drawing to show us what he recommended and where the plants would be placed. The crew arrived on time and completed the work on schedule. Lonnie was always available for our questions and explained the processes clearly. We will definitely be calling him for our next project!

"Company never contacted me and once I found the check problem was on it and took care of it. Warranty on plants always as the nursery has. Installing the plants are checked If not maintained with water we do not make special daily or weekly visits. Never was contacted when there was any issues about a dead plant much less many."

Communication with this company is very hard. They did not show up when they said they would, and they do not take responsibility for mistakes that were made.

"Job completed month ago and everything was walked through and checked by myself and the homeowner. Client was very pleased. I am displeased with a review as low as given by client. We go above and beyond to make clients jobs the very best they ask for just as this client and after 1 month with no calls and then leaving a low review. And on the do not take responsibility on mistakes when she had city tear up the river rock and not put back. That is not our responsibility when someone else removes the rock or any landscaping and then leaves it. When someone messes something up then it is their responsibility to put it the way they found it."

"Thank you for review unfortunately not what we like to see in our reviews. This review does not apply when client was told we do not do irrigation and had to be water to keep the trees alive. Trees were installed and no irrigation. Therefore they died, and then the clients wanted warranty on the trees. My company does not warranty any trees nor plants that client does not provide needed water supply. 35 years plus in the business and never had a client demand replacement when they are the ones that caused the trees to die. Client walked job and agreed on everything and paid in full then when the trees died starts to say bad review. My suggest"

Lonnie yes you texted. We get it but what warrants you keeping 4,535.00 dollars. That check you cashed was a deposit for palm trees you never delivered. I know you had a some expenses but those boxes only required a few boards to connect those text messages are not worth that amount or money. Avoid this guy folks! did about $500 of work kept the whole amount, never answered angi's list requests for fair claims. Hope he gets delisted.

"Thank you for you review although not to our standards and not true on your view either. I as the owner have communicated weekly with the wife and updated on the vendor trying to get palms in. The planters are built and only waiting in the palms to complete job. Again thank you for the review and again not true about communicating again got numerous texts messages to back the communication. Beware of the company there is not any communication, they do not follow through with their proposal. They have been paid 8,000 on Jan 24 and 200.00 of work was done in early February, since then after multiple emails, there has not been any communication!

Lonnie and his crew were very prompt to come take care of some large trees that had fallen after a big storm hit our home. They were super friendly and did an excellent job at a much lower cost than some of the big name services in town that I won't mention. But the quotes from Lonnie were very reasonable while the other quotes I got were seriously shocking. Thanks Lonnie for the great work and for helping our home get back to normal.

Honest and fast response. Made changes along the way and had no problems with adjusting to changes and worked on. Crew was very hard working and easy to talk with and followed Mr. Goodmanâ  s lead when he was not there a few times. Mr. Goodman was on the job-site more than most other company owners I hired for other projects.
