    ARS installed our Carrier mini split system 4 years ago, and it?s been nothing but scare tactics and upselling since. First it was the board, then the compressor, then they said we should just replace the entire system they installed. At one point, they told us a wire had burned up ? then the system magically worked 2 days later. Fed up, we hired a licensed third-party company. They replaced both OEM boards, fixed the communication issue, and confirmed the compressor was bad but under warranty. Later that SAME DAY, ARS came out and quoted us $2,289 (discounted to $1,831) ? including a brand-new inverter board that had just been replaced HOURS earlier. We paid $1,700 total elsewhere for boards, compressor, labor, and actual honesty. If lying about a brand new part doesn?t prove how shady they are, I don?t know what does. Get a second opinion. Don?t get taken advantage of.

    ARS would NOT offer financing unless the job was over $10,000. The quote for the replacement heat pump was substantially below the requirement for financing but, unable to pay cash or get a loan, the sales rep RAISED the price of the job to $10,000 because that was all he was willing to do! Thanks for nothing, pal. I was forced to over pay just for the privilege of getting ARS financing! He said I had to also buy the thermostat that ?came with it?. I made it perfectly clear that I would be using my own. On installation day, the guy installing the unit did an acceptable job. At my request, they agreed to let me keep the old heat pump. I knew I could make some money from recycling it. The guy installing the new thermostat was completely unprofessional. He purposely threw my existing thermostat onto the floor like he was trying to damage it. Unacceptable, as I intended to reinstall it. Total lack of respect! I?m so happy that I won?t be dealing with ARS again.

    Worked quickly, spent time explaining why we have to pay upwards of $300 every time ARS performs maintenance on our central air conditioner. It would be a pleasant experience if ARS quit pushing expensive extras on us. We must reiterate the professional and patience of the service tech, Flogert.

    We were very pleased with ARS from start to finish! No problems at all. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. They did what they said they would do in a timely manner and communication was excellent. Call the consultant we were fortunate to have Travis Grippe at 727 201 6486. The installers Patrick and Eric were also great!

    Tech more worried about rain. Said he thought he knew what was wrong. Put whole system in 3 years ago. Said I needed new duct system. Duct system didnt just go bad in last few years. New system quote 10,000 dollars. Dont trust this company. Will never use again.
