They installed the heater/air condition unit on our roof the next day after signing the paperwork and did an excellent job with no mess and courteous and efficient workers. The permit came in the mail two weeks later and we called to schedule a inspection with the county. The county inspector came the next week and said everything was fine. Very smooth with the installation and inspection.

I was very pleased with the approach the technician who came out took with my problem. He told me that he had a very detailed checklist that he followed and that the checklist would diagnose the problem. Sure enough, he did diagnose and FIX the problem. Previously, I had someone from another company come out and fixed the problem for a temporary basis only. ARS actually found the source of the problem (instead of using a hit or miss system) and repaired it. I am very happy and would definitely recommend them.

The service was great from the initial phone conversation through the actual service. However, when I was given an estimated time of arrival, I did expect a follow-up phone call to let me know that my plumber would be late. Instead, I called twice to find out when he would actually be arriving. Work was done promptly and well.

I called ARS/Rescue Rooter and was given another number to call. The tech came out, however the quote was much more than expected. I negotiated with the technician's boss on the phone for a reasonable price that I could afford. The boss (Benjamin) and the tech (Vincent G.) referenced the 20 years of experience he had in plumbing. It is surprising then that after assessing and making the repair that the tech stated that the (flush valve) repair he had done did not fix the problem and that the fill valve would still need to be replaced. He stated that the additional fix would require an additional fee. I ended up paying 60% more than agreed.

Our A/C wouldn't work would so we made an appointment with ARS of Corona. When the techs checked out our A/C the door to the main processor door was open. I figured an automatic trip-switch had prevented the compressor from kicking on. The technician refused to accept that and pushed me to get the ducts cleaned. Thank goodness I stood by as the techs made their WRONG assessment! I shut the door to the processor and the A/C kicked on just FINE. Still the techs pushed for me to agree to allow the ducts to be cleaned. I refused. I would NOT use ARS of Corona in the future.

The service guy was professional and on time. Very knowledgeable and courteous. The only thing I did not like is for payment on credit card he wanted 5% extra, company policy. So I ended up writing a check. Credit card should be accepted and not charged extra for a repair of $660.

James Butts thoroughly explained the problem and possible solutions. He also shared the fact that R22 refrigerant would be phased out by 2010 and that it would become very expensive at that time. I opted to replace my entire system with a new Carrier that uses Puron refrigerant. When Chris and Kelly came to do the work, they discovered some duct work that needed to be replaced. They contacted their warehouse and had the pieces delivered right away. It was a day-long project, but the results are fantastic! I will be having ARS do yearly maintenance on both my AC and heating units in the future. I highly recommend James Butts and ARS!

ARS is amazing, not only did they do my service on a Sunday, the tech, Jose, spent a long time talking to me re my unit, it's pros/cons. He talked about replacement and was extremely knowledgeable in all areas. When I need a new unit, I will definately call ARS, ask for Jose and rely on his advice, he knows his stuff!! Thanks ARS. The service tech was scheduled to get there between 2 and 5 pm, but he did not show up until 5:45 pm. However, the office did call me to let me know the tech was running behind so I can't complain to much. He did not do much other than do a inspection of my A/C to make sure it was working properly, which is why I called him out. Just a little pricey for what he did. He recommend I get a new A/C because my current system is 13 years old. He gave me a price quote on a new unit (without asking for one) and kept reminding me that I should buy a new unit; I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman and not a service tech.

They called before I even got to review their customer ratings and I hired them right away off of their call. I really wished I'd waited to review their's and the other recommended contractors. While the work was done very well, courteously and promptly, I was taken back by the charge. It was a relatively simple job and took very little time, yet I was charged what I thought was probably twice what I should have been. After reviewing their ratings, I found that that was a comment that had been made in a number of their ratings. I would only recommend them to someone who wasn't particular about price.

Readily availble for projects < 2 hrs of initial contact. Arrived promptly, good & fast communication of options re: repair/replacing of toilet (water cont. draining) & garbage disposal (not working), clearing drain for washer (prevent water backup). Completed tasks in timely manner. I knew it would cost some money, however, I felt that I was advised to go with more expensive options. I was recommended a new garbage disposal that was okay, but I researched on my own & went with a better quality, name-brand one. Price was high overall even w/discount. Service & price - ok, decent. Communication good. Timeliness excellent. Satisfied 3.5

They called within 10 minutes of me signing up and a plumber was scheduled that same day. They called when they were on their way to my house. The plumber was very knowledgeable and resolved our problems quickly. They were great!
