A+ Refrigeration gets an A+ from me. We had an emergency at our store. Our rooftop cooling unit went down and we had to close the store because the machines that cool our product were not working. No other refrigeration company in town could send someone out for a few days. Michael Smlyun of A+ answered the phone and promised to be there at 9 am the next morning even though he was backed up with appointments like everyone else in the middle of August during a heat wave. When Michael arrived he went right to work, took out his electrical testing equipment, figured out what was wrong in a very methodical and logical fashion, and then went to work fixing it. He had it all done in 2 hours, including replacing an electrical part on a motor that got the motor working again like it was brand new. If he hadn't been able to fix the motor with a part he had in his truck, it would have taken at least a week or so plus $500 or more to get a new motor delivered and installed. Which would have meant my business would have been closed down for a week. Thank God he had the knowledge, skill, and experience to figure out what was wrong with the motor and then find a part in his truck to fix it in short order. Amazing. And very cost effective too. Even if you've been using someone else for your refrigeration repair needs for years, I strongly recommend you give these guys a try. You won't regret it.

My company had an HVAC emergency on a Friday night at 6 p.m.; our regular contractor didn't have an emergency number and I found A+ online. I was transferred to A+ right away and they were here w/in about 15 minutes....problem solved.

Very friendly and very honest. Easy to get a hold of, but did take a couple of days to get them to the house. Would definitely call them again.

first of all they are not applince installers. they instaled a over range vent hood.installed a gas range and I had them reverse the frig doors. They used the wrong hinge and damaged the stainless panel.they charged me for six hours.It seemed like a training mision . 542.00 for the job they did was not of value. my advice is find a real applince installer. I have a bad taste on my mouth from the whole experance.The other trades person thought they were a joke....Philip Badone

I called one day, and the next day they were able to come out. I was very vague about what was wrong (the unit was making a "funny" noise), but he checked it over thoroughly, replaced a couple parts and charged it with freon. When he was done, the noise was gone - - all in about an hour! He actually went over the hour a little bit, but only charged for the hour.

The response was immediate. Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, a tech called me within 15 minutes. Needless-to-say, I was quite pleasantly surprised. We set an appointment and he came to see me. Unfortunately, the motor was burned out on my Swamp Cooler. We ordered a new one but it hasn't come in yet. The service was GREAT and, yes, I would highly recommend them again to anyone needing assistance in this area!!!!

We had a high efficiency mini-split ductless system installed. It was a 2 zone system with a wall mounted unit in one area and an above ceiling mounted unit in another. The second unit turned out to be more difficult than expected and took a bit longer to complete based upon early estimates. This is rather understandable given that they were working on days when the attic temperatures were well above 125 F and a good part of Samta Barbara was burning. Another minor problem was created by their supplier who had given them the wrong tubing kit length, which also delayed things a day. The units work well and the cost charged was the cost on the estimate. It would have been nice to place some kind of cover over some of the plumbing that ran through a closet, but that is a minor detail that I can correct. Overall, they did a good job under difficult circumstances.

It was a pleasue havving this company install our new furnace. They were clean, efficient, timely and very professional.

They did a great job. Michael was on time, worked after hours and charged a fair price.

Excellent service. They consulted with me, did the permit for me and carefully installed the new heater.
