Arrived home last night around 6:30 pm. It was -10 degrees and the garage door wouldn't open. Called my wife to try and open from inside. No luck. After looking I found the spring and cables had broken and could not open. We were preparing to leave town to see grand-kids for Xmas. After calling around to several well known repair services (including one I had used several years ago) only two even answered and they said maybe in a few days (this was Xmas weekend coming) During my search I saw comments about ASAP and decided to put in a call close to 8:00 pm. Shay answered and said he would have to call me back in a few minutes, and he DID! Concernedly he listened to my predicament and said he could be at our home around 9:00 am the next morning to take a look. He arrived, gave my wife and I a sincere impression of a pleasant and professional individual. He immediately assessed the problem, both broken springs and cables. He clearly explained the problem to us and discussed what he felt needed to be done. He then gave us a reasonable quote on the repair. I asked when it could done. To my surprise he said he thought he had everything he need on his truck and since he was already here he could do it right then. We agreed and...1 hour and 10 minutes later he not only replace the springs and both cables but also adjusted the garage door opener, lubed the track rollers and tightened and replaced the door bolts. Afterward he went over what had been done, showed it to us and then gave us recommendations of future preventive maintenance I could do for our garage door and opener systems. I would highly recommend ASAP garage door services. Shay came to my house three different times not because of any issues but the fact that he did not have the commercial springs used on my garage door. He used a temporary bridge for the garage door so we could take the cars out followed with the spring installation followed with a small repair on the door itself !!!! There were no extra charges and his professionalism and fantastic customer service has earned his business for life....
