Well Pump Repair or Service
$1,200
This will be the entire story for anyone to make their own decision(the entire job and all interactions were caught on my security cameras and can be confirmed). I hired Bobby to do plumbing work on a remodel that was not completely finished by our contractor(hose bib, winterization capability, upgrade expansion tank on well pump). Bobby showed up for the estimate and seemed very good and fairly priced. My first red flag should have been him asking for a deposit for what he called minimal parts needed. The next week he showed up to do the job 3 hours later than he said, about an hour later asked me where to go for lunch(i'm not from the area so told him was not sure and thought it was odd that he would not know), but another few hours passes and he says he will have to come back to finish the work but shows me the majority is completed, so I paid him CASH IN FULL(my mistake I realize of course esp after the fact), but we did talk about future work and the pump expansion tank upgrade etc so did not think anything was off. (BTW I only go to the remodel property Friday and Saturdays). When Bobby left I went up my driveway to my garage and yes the driveway is about 100 feet long and thought it was strange he parked all the way at the top of the driveway and went to his car repeatedly during the few hours he was at the house...I noticed a puddle where his car was parked and noticed glass in the middle of this puddle so bent down to smell it and realized the glass was the remnants of a corona bottle of which he did not fully remove. Needless to say this being a lake property I was angry as people and children will be running around without shoes on etc... lets continue.. So the next Friday comes and Bobby no shows... Late in the day he leaves a voicemail he is stuck on a job with no hot water and would be back Saturday the following day. I text him back no worries see you tomorrow. Well the next day comes he no shows. I called and text him with no response. Couple days later I get a call and he says sorry but do not worry I am going to make it up to you nothing fishy going on, but that he just removed a pump and expansion tank from a house that is like new and would work perfect in my house. Tell him I do not need the pump just the tank, but to bring it Friday, which he does. I confront him about the broken bottle and he apologized and proceeds to install the pump and tank which he refuses to separate and re-use my old pump(which worked perfectly). He connects everything and we wired the pump, it makes this god awful squealing/grinding sound which Bobby swears is b/c we are using an extension cord for temp water(The old pump worked fine this way). Bobby swears when the pump is wired by the electrician that it will work perfectly and if not he will just put my old pump on. I pay him in full this time by check. The electrician comes checks the voltage and pump and determines the pump is in fact no good. You guessed it! I no longer can get in touch with Bobby either by Phone or text, and Oh yeah he cashed the check that was given to him on Friday first thing Monday morning. So in summary my experience with this man was not good at all, he did not finish the original job which I paid him cash for in good faith, he then sold me a defective pump and swore he would make it right if not, of which he has not and like I previously said will not return calls or texts. So now I have to pay another plumber to re-do the majority of the work he did which I have come to find out was incorrect and replace parts he knowingly sold me that were bad. My advice, stay away from Bobby he is not professional at all.

Bobby was incredible. Reasonably priced, fair and even gave me same day service for what to me was an emergency but to him nothing. He is a veteran with 30 plus years of experience and highly professional. His knowledge of his craft if exceptional and I was blown away with how quickly and efficiently he worked, I highly recommend this company, specifically Bobby for your all your heating, plumbing and electrical needs! If I could give him six stars I would!
