Melanie was very professional and courteous in the initial planning of our countertop, but when an error was made by her team, she initially stated over the phone that she would try to find a solution, then did nothing to change it. The stone for the island was made shorter than our previous countertop which made the island unsymmetrical with the sink and with lights above the island, the difference being about 10 inches. The way that our home is laid out causes this to be a very obvious error. Melanie stated that we would be responsible for the full fee and there was nothing that could be done to fix the situation. She originally stated that we could purchase a new countertop at a discounted price, but never sent a new quote. We will now have to remove the stone just purchased and have another company install the stone of the correct length.

Melanie was amazing. Her customer service was excellent in every way. Andre was delightful and professional. He and his crew made us feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing. We had new countertops installed in our kitchen. The entire project went seamlessly and quickly. We feel so fortunate to have found and worked with Ascar Granite and Marble. I highly recommend them!

After much research, I selected Ascar Marble & Granite for my new countertops and vanities. I liked that our first meeting was at the big stone supplier, so I could pinpoint exactly what type of stone and colors I liked. Before that, my vision was somewhat unclear. I liked not being limited to choose from a few small samples. They were responsive and very easy to communicate with throughout the remodel process. They were also priced lower than some of their competitors. From the time we made our decision on the stones and measurements were taken, our new countertops and vanities were in place in only a few days. Our expectations were certainly exceeded!

Not only were my concerns addressed in a professional and understanding manner but all my expectations were completely exceeded. The lady that I corresponded with most was helpful in explaining their manufacturing process and then how it would apply for my specific home project. The installation team was not only nice and respectful but instilled so much confidence in me. The care and quality of work was extraordinary! My wife and I have visited Charleston for many years now and have always wanted property of our own to escape to when we just need to get out of the New York bustle. We had a lucky find with a landmark home that just needed some keen attention and Ascar Granite delivered. Every interaction with Ascar Granite was a relief and thanks to them we finished up the kitchens, bathrooms, porticos, and terrance with ease. Our drawing room hearthstone was decrepit so Ascar Granite even provided a beautiful solution for that too. We only wish we could get them up to Rhode Island to do our other getaway house that is in dire need of their finishing touches!

The team was super reliable and did a great job. It was all done in the projected window of time for the project. We always get compliments on our countertops!
