CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY! I had tub resurfacing done 4 years ago. While the warranty is for 5 - 8 years (it seems to have changed) they would not even come out to look at my tub unless I paid a $198 service fee. My tub has turned gray on the bottom. First they said I must have voided the warranty (I didn't) next they said it is just not cleaned properly (it is) and they refused to send anyone to look at unless I paid $198.00. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone -- they will only text. Ugh...so frustrating. I would never do business with this company again.

It was fine!

The refinishing of my old peeling bathtub is a huge improvement. It looks very clean and shiny. The no slip surface is a little bit scratchy but definitely no slip. Not necessarily bath friendly, I would need a mat which is what I was trying to get rid of. Overall a good job done by a nice guy.

After a few conversations about repairing fiberglass tub. I thought we had everything worked out to start work in November. ASR wouldn?t call back after multiple texts and voicemails. Typical contractor only, calls back to bigger projects. Had to look elsewhere for repair. Thanks for wasting my time ASR.

American Surface Restoration (Mike Wall) was very professional, did a commendable job and I would recommend ASR to others.

He was kind and efficient. He really seemed to care about being quiet for my son's naptime, even. He was clear and had high expectations for himself.

Did come back to house the next day when we noted a few areas that were not fixed to our expectations. It is amazing how great the bathroom area looks, however, after only a short time the bottom of the tub seems to be dirty looking, unable to clean it off... We had it textured for non-slip purposes.

WE HAD A PORCELAN KITCHEN SINK, ELJAR, IT WAS 44 BY 22. IT CHIPPED. WE HAD REDONE OUR KITCHEN WITH A NEW SINK AND COUNTERTOPS 8 YEARS AGO. I SPENT $987.00 to buy a Kohler sink to replace the Eljar, because Eljar stopped making our sink. The Kohler did not fit. Mike fixed the chip and redid the Eljar sink. It looks great! My alternative was spending another $6 to $7 thousand dollars redoing the counters and sink. He is very professional and does exceptional work.

Mike did a very professional job, and I would definitely hire him again. The one thing I didn't know about resurface is that you cannot use a tub mat w/suction cups as it will pull off the surface. Mike informed us of that and included some texture in the bottom. It wasn't enough for our comfort, so you might want to make that part of your discussion.
