Great roofer!

I hired this company to re-roof a cosmetically damaged metal roof. Upon their inspection, the owner, Greg Gast, sold me on redoing the flat roof on the third floor, stating that it was not watered tight and was prone to leaks. After significant delays and cost overruns and drilling out concrete without my approval, I was left with a disgusting flat roof with standing water and imprints of where rags and buckets were left while drying. The roof was slick and uninhabitable. To add to the issue, he was poorly responsive, always blaming his lack of communication on a sick parent, and he failed the city inspection without telling us and then demanded payment which was not to be given until after the passing of the final inspection. When I refused to pay the last installment since we failed inspection and the roof was disgusting, knowing I was putting the house up for sale, he tried to block any sale by filing a foreclosure lien and trying to keep me from getting a final inspection. We are now in litigation. I find him dishonest and incompetent. Stay away from this roofer!

5 Stars Plus! Gave a very reasonable estimate for a new roof. Arrived on time. Did a superior job. His crew worked diligently everyday until new roof was installed. Very pleased. Would recommend to anybody.

Our final roof was very good, happy, but we had numerous problems during the installation of our roof that made it difficult for us. We liked the owners. We sustained damage to our driveway, some of our house trim and our floodlights were knocked out due to falling tile when the crew was removing it from our roof. Our AC was also shorted out while the crew was trying to cover it with plywood, took 3 weeks get our AC up and running again. They did ultimately pay for the damages. I am sure this was a one time event. Better communication from the owners would be my number one suggestion and a better process during the time they are taking off old tile from your roof, needs to be a lot neater and organized and the house needs to be better protected. Otherwise, we like them and in the end, we are happy. I am sure they will do a good job for you. We learned a lesson and we are sure they did as well.
