I had planned to hire at least two different companies to take care of the excessively long list of projects I had, but hired Stephen when he said he could do all the repairs on my list and then some. He gave me a reasonable price, and I could see from a few minor repairs that he did at no charge for that he was meticulous in his work. Stephen and his assistant were flexible when I had to reschedule, and made sure to cover my furniture and even my back patio and portion of my back yard. When it became necessary for them to work late at other jobs when they were scheduled to work at my home, they worked at my home on Christmas Eve to make up for it.

Cabinets - Repair
I had a small repair (broken kitchen drawer). Stephen returned my call the same day and arranged to pick up / rebuild the drawer / return it within 24 hours as he had another job in the same part of town. The work was completed on time, on budget, and to my complete satisfaction. I would use Stephen again and have already recommended him to one of my co-workers who needs some carpentry work done.

I hired this company to make certain cabinet and drawer repairs. He came out on time and did a good job making those repairs. However, while he was at my home doing those repairs I asked him if he would make some other repairs. He said he would do them on another day and would call be back the next day. He never called me back. Thus, I rate his work as "incomplete."

Mirrors - Install or Replace
I used Stephen Gow this morning, June 9, 2007, to hang a large mirror and picture. For anyone who reads this, I would recommend and use Stephen Gow in a heartbeat. He is very, very professional and extremely accommodating. He did not rush doing the project and was very patient in all my requests. Excellent job done and a hard worker. As a widow purchasing a condo on her own my biggest concern was finding someone reliable to help with the renovation (Complete painting, new ceramic tile flooring, fireplace tile replacement, fans, light fixtures, etc.) A to Z Carpentry by Stephen was a dream come true. Stephen's expertise and craftsmanship turned out to be beyond expectation. Not only was the job well done and completed on time, he helped with suggestions and alternatives that saved me money. Without hesitation I highly recommend Stephen and his crew (Thank you Josh & Brandon!). Future projects in my home will be done by Stephen. I am pleased beyond words !!!!!

Closet - Build
Very courteous. Was as quiet as possible while baby was sleeping. Very nice and professional at all times. Great attention to detail. Understood exactly what I wanted and did so without being asked to do so. I would highly recommend him. My only area for improvement is the cleanup. I had to have the carpets cleaned after the job, which was an unexpected expense. I would suggest putting plastic down from day ONE. Thanks for a great job!!!
