Andres from AV responded to the contact quickly. I asked for an estimate for a gutter repair, and he said he will be there in about 1/2 hour. Polite, yes. And, almost on-time. It went downhill fast after he arrived. He reviewed the project, cleaned the gutter, and inspected for leaks. He started to apply silicone caulk, in the rain. What a disaster. He reached over in the rain to apply the caulk, with globs of it going everywhere. I supplied paper towels for his hands, the gutter. and I thought the floor. Then tracked it with his shoes on the floor all the way to the exit door. We cleaned it quickly before it dried. I would not let him help. He then could not provide an estimate, for he had no usable material cost knowledge, other than this sample type is expensive, but I will go to a home to check out what they have. Now, I realized MY error, when I did not ask if it was a free estimate. Andres says, AFTER THE $75 TRIP CHARGE, THERE IS NO COST, HUH? Well, I guess the mess of caulk everywhere he could charge for. (I would not have!) OK, we paid it, then I asked what it will cost to do the job. 1. materials cost - maybe $50 - 100 2. labor - 1 - 1 1/2 hours - $75 each hour 3. another $75 trip charge Oh, he said 4 days ago, he would price the materials, and get back to me by phone or email, THE NEXT DAY. He never called or wrote. If you want Andres to work for you, good luck.

Andres, Is a very polite, punctual, reasonable, and very helpful. Due to rain he has to return to finish some minor areas which need caulking and an extension for downspout. Over all I m very please.
