Bob the home inspector did the worst inspection in over 20 years of having home inspections done for my clients. First he couldn?t a hot water heater. Secondly, he missed coded an A/C and gave misinformation to the buyer regarding the age of the AC. Bob told the buyer in his report that the unit was 18 years old. Due to his inexperience with codes and providing accurate information caused the buyer to back out of a deal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOME INSPECTIONS. This is what he sent me I ran the data tag across the database. This is the information that came up to me. I do believe the information would be accurate. Your serial number is: P7F2008002289 For these Nordyne/Nortek units, the manufacture date is commonly embedded in the serial number, with the 4th?7th digits indicating year and month/week production information. Multiple HVAC reference sources confirm this serial format usage for Nordyne/Nortek. All incorrect information caused.
