Write a ReviewGreat technician and service. Couldn't be happier with AAA Furnace.
We live in Willow Glen, and weâ ve used AAA Furnace & AC for about 10 years and subscribed to their maintenance plan for five years. When people around the neighborhood see their red truck, they often ask how we like their service. Our answer: we like them a lot. Hereâ s a long story, but good example of why AAA Furnace remains our first choice. Our 20-year old furnace went out during the cold snap late last December and AAAâ s response was terrific. Forest, our service technician, said the thermostatic gas control valve had failed and needed replacement. These things have a bad habit of happening at inopportune times, and this occurred just before Christmas â of course! This complicated ordering and shipping the replacement part. It ultimately took 11 days and we had to huddle around space heaters while we waited. I am not a patient guy, so I called quite a few times for status. Given the volume of holiday gift and return shipping, it really wasnâ t a practical request and Iâ m sure the office and our technician mustâ ve gotten tired of my calls. But to the credit of AAA people, they were ALWAYS patient and pleasant, assuring me that the order had been placed and the part was on its way. Eventually, the valve did come and was installed shortly thereafter. As you might expect with an older furnace, we had problems that caused outages and need for manual re-starts. AAA sent out another technician who did all sorts of testing and was not able to reproduce the problem, but the furnace still went out periodically. We were told that we might need a new furnace â although having to buy one was an unpleasant possibility, I wanted a dependable solution, so I called the owner of AAA to voice my concern. Like ALL of the AAA staff, Jim was very pleasant. He said heâ d call Forest, our main tech, to to see if they could solve our problem. Forest then came out, did three hours of diagnosis and testing and said he thought he might have found the problem and fixed it. I asked for the bill, but Forest said Jim Rando told him to let the furnace run for 30 days to make sure they had fixed the problem. The great news: AAA fixed the problem and Iâ ve had no problems since. I called AAA to pay our bill for all the troubleshooting work they had done, but Jim Rando said they wanted to make sure I happy, and there would be no additional charges. I was extremely impressed and gratified by AAAâ s service, and itâ s why I wanted to share my experience. Thank you AAA Furnace!
Excellent service all around from there folks. They left everything better than found.
We had a very old furnace replaced and had AAA Furnace and Air Conditioning come out and give us an estimate. We picked AAA because they are family owned and been in business seance 1957. Rich came out and inspected the whole house, attic, number of registers and where the best place for the compressor should be. We then went into the house and he showed me all the different equipment that was available and which would best meet my needs. He was here for about an 1 1/2 hours and there was NO pressure to commit and the price was SOOO reasonable no one else could beat it. On Aug. 3rd the crew came out right on time and started to dismantle the old system, installed the new furnace, evaporator, expandable ducking under the house, the electrical and coolant lines, also under the house. All this was done in one day. The second day, again arrived on time, Miguel continued working on the furnace/evaporator wrapping everything, strengthening the furnace platform and covering every little hole that a critter could possibly get into. He was so meticulous it was unbelievable. Jorge and Alberto went up into the attic and installed all the new expandable ducking, installed a new register and put the compressor in place. Miguel then wired up the compressor and attached the coolant lines. He attached the Freon tank and let sit for 24 hours to make sure there was no leaks. Again, all in one day. Day three again on time, finished up some minor things, wired the service center and ran the system (furnace and air) for sometime to be sure everything was working to spec. Miguel also showed me how to shut the system down for the winter without using the service panel. I want to say, these three gentlemen, Miguel, Jorge and Alberto were so polite, so knowledgeable, enjoyed there work and enjoyed doing it, that it was an honor too watch them. Their workmanship was impeccable. Being a retired machinist with a QA inspector as my wife, believe me, we know good work. We highly recommend AAA Furnace and Air Conditioning for you HVAC needs.
I had them install a new furnace (before hone advisor) & they were super. Now bidding central a/c.
