Mine was a small job and when I explained what I needed and that I wanted it done right away, he said he would come right away. He did. He completed the work quickly and neatly - very professional. I will hire him again for other jobs.

Alfred did a great job. He put drywall in dining room and kitchen, installed vertical patio blinds, installed moulding inside and outside patio door, installed mini blinds and installed smoke detectors. I was pleased with the results. His prices are good. I will definitely hire him again

I was quoted $100, he said $200 when he came and saw the job. It took him 15 mins to complete so the job was no harder than on the phone. He was cutting out floorboards under a dishwasher and used an electric saw. He chose to cut close to the electrical wire coming out of the floor. 3 times I told him to be careful of the wire for his safety as well as the problems it would cause if he cut it. He ignored me and ended up cutting the wire. His response was **it is ok. It is only a small cut to the insulation** I would not hire this firm again.

An unexpected hiccup occurred and our house manager wasn’t available for the scheduled appointment that day. They couldn’t have been nicer. They worked with my house manager to get a different appointment scheduled and the house manager told me afterwards what fantastic work they did.

Alfred showed up on time and did a fantastic job staining my deck. He took great care taping my vinyl banisters and protecting the siding. He charged a fair price. I would hire him again!

He did not complete his job and has not come out to complete part of his job. He fixed the ceiling and has not come to paint it. The 3 tins of paint he left behind is still sitting in my living room for 2 weeks now. He insisted on being paid under the table with cash and I paid him. Alfred promised to come out in 2 days when the ceiling was supposed to dry and ready for painting. That was over 2 weeks ago and he has not come back to complete his work. He stopped answering his phone call and would not reply to text messages. Then this week my wife sent him a text and threatened to report him to HomeAdvisor, he scheduled to come out to complete his work, 2 times and each time failed to show. We need a refund of our money so that we can hire someone else to complete the job. Initially, he was courteous and respectful. I was sold into his scheme. He deceived me to pay him all his money in the amount of $525.00. No one should ever hire him. Alfred is a dupe and a scam artist.

They assembled a big Ikeâ s pax system for my closet. They showed up when they said they would, were very respectful, and did great work. I would recommend them and I would hire them again.

Quality of the work was excellent and for a reasonable price. I intend to use A and B Handyman for all the projects around my house I am unable to do myself.

I hired A and B Handyman to build two shelves next to my stairs. Alfred was responsive and of the companies I received quotes from, he seemed the most knowledgeable. Although his quote was the lowest by 32%, I choose to hire him because he was so knowledgeable. In the end they did meet the timeframe and cost we discussed, and they were flexible when I asked them to paint the base board going up the stairs to ensure a color match. However, the quality of their work is not what I expected. The shelves were not measured properly, which is obvious when you look at the gap in the molding that increases as it runs down the stairs. There is about .5" gap on the bottom of the stairs. I had also asked for the bottom shelf to be the height of my second step, because it was not built that high a section of the molding was cut out, which looks sloppy to me. Although the dry wall had over 12 hours to dry it was not completely dry when they showed up the next day, so the edges and walls are not straight. Other small things that aggravated me include getting spackle on doors and molding, not taping or covering the wood floors when they painted so there was paint on the floors which I had to try to scrape off after they left, they also got paint on my brand-new handrails on the other side of the wall from the space they were working on that I had to scrape off. I also heard them drop heavy equipment several times when they were working and there are obvious dents in my wood floors from the equipment that was dropped. The last three things had nothing to do with their work, but I feel they are worth mentioning, Alfred did not wear his mask when he was in my house. Whenever I saw him, he had it around his chin, which made me very unfomfortable. They washed out their paint brushes in my garden which resulted in getting white paint all over my black solar lights. And finally, they used my toilet and did not flush. I didn't realize it until the next morning.

Alfred was very professional. The jobs he did for me were excellent. I certainly will use this company again and recommend them to others.
