5 stars are not enough for Hector and his company. They recently did a deck rebuild for us. They were on schedule; completed the work promptly; were friendly and respectful; and did a top notch job at a very fair price. This is a small, family run business, and they treated us like family throughout. They have our highest recommendation.

Hector and his crew are amazing. This was a tear-off deck with composite replacement on Ann Arbor s West Side. The quote was mid range but the professionalism, workmanship, honesty and integrity were second to none. These guys worked straight for 2 days and came back on the 3rd day for follow up and inspection. A beautiful job, better than what could have been envisioned. This team has my highest recommendation without reservation.

Before Hiring Hector and his team we got a few quotes before we made a decision. Hector was neither the cheapest nor expensive quote that we got out of the 5 companies we called. We chose this company because they were very professional and honest. Hector and his employees are great at communication and will let you know about any changes that may be needed and gives you suggestions as well. For the price that we paid we def got our money worth. Our deck looks better then ever and couldn't be more happier. Hector and his team work well together and are sync. They finished the job in the matter of days! Wish I would've hired him from the beginning.

Professional and clean worksite.

I had my existing elevated deck torn down and rebuilt a new elevated Trex deck. Hector and his crew did an amazing job from beginning to end. I'm pretty picky, but Hector definitely met all of my expectations. The deck is very well built and looks beautiful! If you are looking for a quality job and a contractor that is fair when it comes to price, I definitely recommend this company!

We are extremely happy with our deck. After contacting other contractors for estimates, we were happy we chose A & H. Hector worked with us to design a deck that is perfect for our yard and best meets our needs. We chose Trex decking. Hector and the crew laid out a beautiful design. The work was flawless. They were timely and efficient.

Many boards on my decks, benches and planter boxes were badly in need of replacement. This required intricate attention to detail by replacing bad boards without destroying the good ones. Hector and his helper did an absolutely OUTSTANDING JOB at a reasonable price. His finished work was that of an accomplished indoor carpenter.
