Great efficient Service

Awful. Don't even use Mark for Free -its not worth the aggravation. His presentation was weak but I decided to go with him and gave him a depost of $ 100 for solar shades. My agreement was to pay the balance in cash. A week later I received a receipt for the balance on my cc that he did not have permission/authorization to use. He lies. He then sent some man to install and I threw him out but kept the shades. I asked him several times to pelase give me an adjustment and I will find my own local installer. I don't believe any reviews for Mark and this company that are good are not REAL. I cannot even sleep in my sunny bedroom as the shades are still sitting in the box. Run fast.

Summary: Mark and his associates repeatedly failed to show up for appointments, didnt answer the phone, and went for weeks without responding to my voicemails. What was supposed to be a rush job taking under two weeks took over two months. Details: I was putting in two sets of shades: honeycomb shades on my skylights and venetian blinds in my living room. I was considering two quotes for the job: one from Mark and one from Home Depot. Home Depot was quoting 600 and Mark, after some haggling, brought his price down to 900. I decided to go with Mark for a few reasons. I thought he would do a better installation job on the tricky skylights. He offered multicolor Venetian blinds, whereas I could only get monocolored blinds from Home Depot, and, most importantly, he said he could do a rush job, completing the work in two weeks maximum, whereas Home Depot said it would take 30 days. I wanted to get my blinds set up quickly in my new apartment, so I went with Mark, and I made the mistake of paying him cash up front since he seemed like an honest guy. The honeycombs in the bedroom were indeed installed within roughly two weeks. The installation job was acceptable, though not perfect. The trouble really began with the venetian blinds. I called Mark about once a week for an update on my blinds. I almost always got his voice mail, and he often did not call me back for a week or more.Finally, more than a month after I placed my original order, he called me and said that the color combination that I had ordered, as well as my two backup color combinations, were all out of stock, and he would come by later in the day for me to choose new colors. He did not come that day however, but came a few days or a week later for me to choose the new colors. When I chose the new colors, he hung around for a while and was very chatty, but as soon as I asked him about cutting my price due to the massive delays in the rush job, he said hed think about it and rushed out the door. After I chose the new colors, I again called him frequently for updates, always getting his voicemail, and he did not return my calls. Finally, a couple of weeks later, he contacted me to set up an installation appointment. The installation appointment was for 10AM on a particular day. I usually sleep late, so I set my alarm clock for shortly before 10AM. When I woke up, I found numerous missed calls from Mark on my phone. When I called him back, he said that the installer had arrived at 9AM, and had left because I didnt answer the door, and would be back later that day. But the installer did not actually come back later that day. Instead, Mark made another appointment for a few days later, and FINALLY my blinds were installed. After the job was done, I contacted Mark and again complained about that the job had taken way longer than expected, and asked him for a partial refund. He ignored my first message, but I finally convinced him to call

Excellent. Timely, courteous and professional service at a fair price. I had solar shade installed. The factory shipped the wrong size brackets. Fortunately, Mark had a set in his bag that he installed on the spot.

The project is complete but my experience to date is very good.
