I got an immediate call back after putting in my online request. The team did a fast and complete turn on the repairs in order to help me prepare for an inspection. The team offered full service in picking up the parts and make the repairs. I was totally pleased with the work of Alisha and her team. I would gladly recommend A&R to my friends and family.

Quick and efficient

We had the same problem as other reviewers. No-show who blocks your calls when they no longer want to work with you, even after they have taken your money. VERY unprofessional. Details below. We had a couple of projects done that turned out great. Unfortunately, the last project we planned did not go well. Ray was supposed to install new carpets for us. The project got pushed off for a few weeks, then when it was finally supposed to happen, he did not show up, and he did not give any notice. He ignored my text and phone calls (obviously blocked my number), just completely ghosted me. He left a money order in my mailbox without even talking to me to refund the upfront cost we paid. I m glad that he returned the money at least, but I can not believe he just completely cut off communication after everything. The owner of the company called me later after I called several times and left messages, to let me know that the cost was going to be more than he quoted, so he decided not to do the job. I just do not understand at all. He could have told me that and I would have understood. It is incredibly disappointing, we liked working with him before that, but this was so unprofessional, and we would never recommend this company after this experience.

Contact is done via text and email. I found the back and forth to be a bit cumbersome. I would rather have been able to speak over the phone for faster coordination. The A&R tech was very punctual, actually arrived earlier than appointment time. I give work quality 4 1/2 Stars, because the racks seem sturdy and for the benefit of the doubt, so as not to inadvertently harm the company.Tech said stud finders do not work upside down, so I am concerned about how he found the center of the studs to anchor the racks. I won't know for sure until I see how the installation stands up to full weight capacity of stored items, which has yet to be placed on the racks. Tech was polite and courteous. He also cleaned up and discarded trash from the installation. As far as the price, I think $250 was just a little high for installing a 4x4 feet and 4x8 feet rack system. I thought it would be between $150 and $200. All being said, I would recommend this company.

A&R - Prompt in calling, providing the estimate and doing the work. Showed up, cleaned up and was very helpful- even told us how he could repair a fence for a fraction of replacing it. That is what you call integrity.

Raymond did a very profession job installing grab bars in my bath tub. I am disabled and needed them immediately. He responded immediately and did an outstanding job, including cleaning up when finished. The price was very reasonable and would definitely use him again! Thank you.

Ray was prompt and very knowledgeable in fixing the rotten wood under my door. The sagging tiles had to be replaced to get the floor level. I ll ask for A&R Home Improvements again.

Ray installed travertine coping around our pool. He went above and beyond on the installation. He was very meticulous on this job-where the other pool place had done horrible work on the corners as far as piecing it together he actually cut the corners from one piece and installed it. He is very meticulous with his work and we could not be happier. We have several other jobs around our house and he will be the only one we call to do it! Let me also add that it was over 100 degrees that day and it was completely miserable-he was in jeans shirts & boots-never once did he complain or say he could not do the job due to the heat. I will also add this was his first time doing pool coping but honestly I have seen so called professionals that did not do the job he did.

Raymond did a great job on my project. He stayed in contact with me on when he would be arriving along with any other pertinent information. The area was cleaned when complete. I would highly recommend A&R Home Improvement for any projects.

Was to install a fence for me have paid him in full $1800. He will no longer return my phone calls or my emails. Do not use this contractor.

I hired Ray and his crew to replace a very large roof on a garage/laundry room as well as 4 windows in the main house. He did a great job. This is an old house so he had a lot of challenges. He placed a metal roof on the garage and it looks fantastic. I will certainly use him on my next job In Augusta. I am an out of town landlord and he was very accommodating to me. Very competitive pricing. He wasn’t the cheapest. I checked his references and was satisfied with his reviews. Great job Ray!

If you want good work with good communication hire these guys.

We hired A&R to fix a number of things when we were getting ready to sell the house. They did everything from fixing some cracks in walls, some plumbing issues, fix a roof leak, repair damage caused by the roof leak, and some general painting. These guys are GREAT. The work they did was top notch done in a timely manner and they always clean up. If I were you I would look no farther, call Ray and hire him now. I would hire them again in a minute and I did recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Mr. Raymond Ray did a super job installing my indoor and outdoor carpet in my screen in porch and replaced some deck boards. I will definitely hire him again. Thanks so much Mr. Raymond Ray.
