Lousy. Inexperienced. Dishonest. Avoid. I hired these pretenders through HomeAdvisors.com to hydroseed my lawn without knowing that it was just a one-man outfit with no license, bonding, or insurance. When the sole proprietor showed up, he recommended sodding instead of hydroseeding, gave me a quote for sodding, and promised to complete the job in nine days. That was March 22. Three months later, his laborers continued trenching and weeding and re-weeding my lawns with no sods. Unknown to me, he apparently applied the hefty deposit I gave him to his personal use or to complete someone's else's job, but he conveniently kept telling me that the sod-suppliers were to blame for the delay. I went to the supplier myself, and they swore they never met my so-called contractor before. In the meantime, he also managed to convince me to also award him another job to complete my irrigation systems installation, a job which I later found out he absolutely is not qualified or licensed to perform. Bottomline, I gave this man over $7,000 in deposit and got nothing in return. By the time he partially laid in some sods on half of my property, it was already June, and with no rains or sprinkler system in place, the sods did not make it. Also, he abandoned the irrigation job when the city demanded a license to pull permits for water meter. Absolute nightmare of an experience, and I am considering legal action once I complete tabulation of my losses. The 1 star here is undeserving, but I guess that is necessary to post my comment.
