I am a retired shop teacher, too old to do my rental houses repairs myself anymore. Aardvark caught my attention with their ability to do the work correctly with a positive attitude. They also had the ability to get the materials at a discounted price which I no longer qualify for. There are a lot of carpenters out there. These are the good guys. I fully recommend them.

I was disappointed with the clean up- had pieces of white caulking all over the stepping stones in front of my shed that I had to clean up. It had been raining and they had stuff leaning against my downspout on the rain gutter, and after they left I went out and water was gushing out where it had disconnected at the top and I had to call them to come back and reconnect it. The material they put down on the floor to walk on I heard them peeling it up very loudly, and it lifted the sides of 2 12x12 peel and stick floor tiles that I had to hammer back in place using a flat piece of wood as to not damage them. And one tile was almost completely covered with some type goofy dried mess that I had to use goof off to remove it. It was a 1 1/2 day job, and I had family visiting from California, and instead of being courteous the workers stayed until 8:00 PM the first day and should of quit at 5:00 like normal business. Overall the work I needed was done, but for the price I was a little disheartened.

"Karen, I am very sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with us. To be fair, you were the one who was stressing the "sense of urgency" in getting the project done ASAP. When you told me that you had your family coming up from California I offered to schedule it for a different day, but you did insist that we come out on that Saturday. I also did inform you that it would be a full day and a half for completion. I also, am sorry that you feel we should have left at 5 "like a normal business". But I think you are aware that at 5 you had 3 windows missing from your exterior walls and that would have made for a very cold nig"
