I had a brick chimney that had bricks cracked and broken at the top with water leaking into the fireplace. The service professional with Aardvark Chimney Service came out and quickly identified the problem, provided a fair quote, and then completed the work on schedule. They were professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable.

When I contacted Aardvark, I discovered that they did air duct cleaning as well as fireplace inspection. I requested both services. The two servicemen stated that the fireplace did not need service and answered my questions about the operation of the gas fireplace. The air duct cleaning was done in about 2 hours. The servicemen were proficient and very professional.

Pat was very prompt to call me after I submitted the request and let me know they were running a special. We were able to get the cleaning and inspection done immediately, and their service person provided us a lot of useful information for future repair (it's a 100 yo house so not unexpected) without trying to up-sell.

Range & Hood - Clean
The overall friendliness of the company from intake/dispatch to the cleaner was great. However, the actual service was not what we expected. The stove was not cleaned and pretty much a mess after he cleaned the hood. We thought we were getting a hood and stove cleaning. We had an event the next morning and it took our culinary crew extra hours to get the stove in condition to cook.

I expected more for the money. They did not do anything but vaccum out my fireplace. I still have a wasps nest in the chemney. I was not happy with this company

Pat, the office manager dishonesty about the job that wasn't completed but yet demanding for money will never earn my referral . His field manager met me at the job and confirmed that the job was not done right and that he needed to do it right. Pat, never offer any apology. And that's okay.

"The job was completed properly, the chimney had been cleaned and inspected but the real estate agent refussed to pay us. We went back out and found nothing wrong but cleaned it again and then we were able to get paid. This is a case of the customer is right so we get paid for our services. You have difficult customers sometimes but we always work hard to satisfy everybody 110% but sometimes no matter what you do you can not satisfy them."

They told me the y would inspect my fireplace they did not do this. They also left a black stain on my white carpet . Not happy.

"I am not sure what to say here. The customers flue has caved in and there is no way to clean anything, it is a furnace flue not a fireplace to start with. It is in need of major repairs but the customer can not afford to fix it. We tried to get a trip charge to cover expenses and they refused to pay us anything after driving and spending over an hour at there home with 2 men. You could not tell the carpet was white and we don't know how you could ever tell there was a stain."
