TOO EXPENSIVE - AND EVASIVE ABOUT PRICING. The company would not give me quote on the phone when all I needed was to replace a few light fixtures. Yes, the technician was nice and did a good job but I would never hire them again.

Polite and careful

Hired them after they were the first to call me. I said I needed two gcfi outlets in my bathroom fixed. Well they showed up early (fine) wasn t mad at it but I wasn t home so I got my husband to rush home. They did a 30minute safety inspection. Told me all the things wrong with the house and gave a quote for work needed for thousands of $$. Paid them the $69 for the visit (which I was ok with) but the techs were unable to give a price for JUST the WORK I asked to be done. They told my husband to call the office for pricing for the gcfi work alone. After all that Im back to square one. Also, the lady at the office was unable to give me a price for the GCFI fix. I don t have time for this !

Needed to get a couple simple GFI?s replaced after a house inspector found them faulty at the house I was selling. The buyer insisted that I get a licensed inspector to replace them even though I could just as easily replace them. I get it. The buyer wanted to be absolutely sure they were fine but I needed to do it quick because the closing was in a couple of days. No big deal I thought. I used Home Advisor and the first Electrical company did not call me back. Got another recommendation from Home Advisor and they did call me. I told them the situation and I requested a quote to install 2 GFI outlets outside. They told me it will cost $69 for an electrician to come out and then they will give me a price when they get out there. That is where I went wrong. The electrician came out and told me that he could install the outlets for $130 EACH Plus the $69 for coming out. I told him that was too much. He then quickly lowered the price to $130 for both outlets plus the $69 fee. The company never told me that the $69 fee would not be credited to me even if I got the work done. I could see where this was heading so I agreed to the total. The house closing was only a couple days away so I reluctantly got it done. The electrician fixed everything within 10 minutes. Cost to me was $210 to install TWO GFI outlets. Potential customers please BE AWARE of the upfront cost of $69 to come out that is not waived if you agree to the services. I would have went with a service provider from a famous online store. They have upfront prices so I would not have been surprised if the cost for this small job but they would not have been able to come out in time. That other service providers total cost to replace 3 GFIs was $120 which is WAY MORE reasonable.

Matt installed a 110 electrical outlet for a new gas range, installed a light fixture, installed a new carbon dioxide and smoke alarm and a circuit breaker for the fuse box. He checked the fuse box for safety. Matt was highly professional and very personable. Aardkvark Electric was prompt with the scheduled appointment and I will have Matt back for later projects.

Elie and Tyler do good work and are easy to work with.

Ellie and Tyler did a great job installing 3 light fixtures in my loft. The 20ft+ ceilings are not easy to deal with, but their work was professional and looks great. Wonderful experience, if a little on the more expensive end for lighting services. I would highly recommend to others.

If you have a job hire them. They are truly the best around.
