A&D Tile and Flooring

DO NOT HIRE MR. DOMINICK ABATO. I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE A&D FLOORING! Hiring him to refinish my beautiful wood floors caused me soooo much extra time and money; it is one of my biggest regrets as a homeowner. I hired him to refinish my pine wood floors. He was there for six hours, used the wrong equipment, failed to tarp my kitchen and furnace floor vents, and called me to extort me for TWO TIMES the cost of the estimate. He left my house with half the job done after requesting that I send him hundreds more because "it was harder than he thought". I came home to see what he did to my floors and was APPAULLED. He literally did half my home and left me high and dry on the other half. My furnace vents were FULL OF FLAMMABLE MATERIAL. He has gone radio silent, forcing me to submit paperwork for small claims court. I am looking forward to it. I ended up doing the job myself. My contractor told me "you cannot mess up your floors more than this bozo already did. Just finish it yourself".

It was the worst experience. He did not grout properly. The tiles are loose and moveable, He install the toilet incorrectly where we had a leak and feces in the wall from the toilet that turned into mold. We had to pay 3,000 to remove the wall and clean up and re-install the toilet. I reached out to the company and explained the problem and He did not respond after charging $4000. Now we go to small claims court.

A&D are not only good a tiling but great at listening and respectful of our wishes while being resourceful with solutions. We need someone to tile our shower and some walls using Schluter products. Both Autumn and Dominick are certified Schluter installers and know the methods and products. We also had concerns about the look of the tile. Autumn and Dominick listened carefully to our design ideas and made some suggestions that we agreed with, and we are delighted with the results. They did not mock our ideas like some installers did and they honored our request to stick with the Schluter products where others said they’d ignore it. They are careful workers, cleaning up each day and respectful of our household and pets. They were also punctual and communicative, letting us know progress each day with photos and estimates when they would return. I highly recommend them.

Everything was done professionally and timely as promised.

Get a warranty in writing. Get a bill on a formal invoice. The guy was verbally abusive to me and we witnessed him verbally abuse his wife on the job. He did a hack job on the floor requiring me to get others to fix his work. He took the funds and went dark.

A&D Flooring . . Called and left message fairly quickly. Was able to understand what I needed to do for kitchen flooring. Also he offered other options to consider. He came over immediately for my estimate. On June 24th...made plans for July 1. On time, courtesy, and knowledgeable. His prices are in reason for sure...Floor completed on July 2...loving my new floor.! They may have it on their site. TREE.

Amazing company, very orderly

Floors were installed improperly with HUGE gaps where it meets the walls. First floor bathroom floor tile also incorrectly installed with too large spacing between tiles.
