Very professional attitude during initial discussions. Provided brochures for different options. Installation was fast, clean, and very solid.

They provided prompt and good quality service with reasonable cost. One thing that did not go well was that they told me the A/C they installed qualifies for state rebate but when I submitted the application for the rebate it was rejected.

Doug and his crew were professional, courteous and informative. A rarity these days. We purchased a new oil furnace and hot water heater from Abacus Heating and cooling. We got 3 quotes for the job. Abacus submitted the most competitive bid. The cost of the job did not exceed the estimate. Our new furnace is quite. It works great. Our hot water is perfect. We're super happy!

We found Abacus Heating & Cooling via the Service Magic web site. We were seeking quotations to replace our 60+ year old boiler. Doug of Abacus was one of 3 quotations we received. He came to our house and walked us through what work he would perform, in detail, showed us pictures of similar installations that he had done in the past and followed up with us for any questions we might have. Abacus turned out to be the low bidder. Doug showed up at 7:30 AM on the day we had targeted for the job and stayed until the job was completed at 5 PM. The work performed was extremely neat and professionally done. Our initial concern prior to hiring Abacus, was giving the job to the low bidder. Based on the results of the work performed, know one at any price, could have performed the work any better. We highly recommend Abacus to anyone looking for a highly skilled professional heating and cooling contractor. Abacus will be our contractor for any future heating or cooling projects. Doug was there on one of the coldest nights of the year on a moment's notice when we had to turn our heat off due to a radiator leak. He was able to shut that radiator off so that we could turn up the heat in the other rooms, and then came back the following day to replace the valve on the broken radiator. My husband had questions about the heating system in general since we're new to this house and were unfamiliar with the heating system. Doug was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were extremely pleased with the service and would recommend him to anyone.
