"Bernard, You were referred to us by a mutual friend and builder because of our reputation and quality of service. We we are hired to change out one exterior light and clear tree branches over the newly installed solar panels on your house. We cut limbs well over 6" thick without any damage to your solar panels. We cleaned up all debris on the roof and around the work area. (The two hours of time spent on your project is a fair price in our industry and we charge by the job, not by the hour) We also let you borrow our battery-powered tools while we were there so you were able to complete projects you had on hold because you didn't have the tools. Which puts liability on us as a business. Upon completion of the job on (7-27-22) we sent you an electronic receipt through email, you were happy with our service and even asked if we could send you an estimate to fix your gate, also sent electronically. You then asked for a printed receipt for your initial project, so we obliged, printed one, and mailed it to you while you were on an extended vacation - per your email. On September 1st we received emails stating, "Where is it?" "We never got it so send another one!" "We have no proof you mailed it, so send another one!" Therefore, I reciprocated your demands and responded with, "If you would like another one, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to our office and we will gladly send you another one." Because of this, you replied by calling me shoddy then continued to insult me by stating, that I was childish and that I refused to mail you a receipt and that I was infantile and unprofessional. You then told me it was the last straw and gave us a one-star review out of spite. I have never disrespected you nor treated you in an unprofessional manner. This is clearly an attempt to ruin my reputation. Mike Jacinto."
"It was my pleasure working with you. If you need anything else, please call me. Thank you. Michael Jacinto"
"The item you requested I return for was not included on your estimate. I did it as a courtesy and asked you not to use that shower for 24 hours so it would dry. You didn't listen and it fell off. I informed you since I have to return I would need to charge you this time and you were not interested in paying therefore I did not return. Also, I charged you a very low price for paint touch-ups and when it came time to pay you tried not to pay for the extra touch-ups and now have an unpaid balance. You also asked for a discount before hiring and we gave you a 5% discount."
"Mr. Castillo, I don't understand why you gave my business a .5 review after you requested my same day service due to your stated emergency. I adjusted my schedule to accommodate your request since it was a front door for one of your renters. During our initial conversation I quoted you $120 based on your explanation of repairs required. (REPLACE THE DOOR ONLY) which is below industry rates already. I also explained if there was more complexity to the repair I would need to charge more and you agreed to those terms. Needless to say, your request was false, when I arrived the door was completely kicked in destroying the frame/door jamb and trim. I replaced all those items and door for $250. Also when we initially spoke you claimed you had the right door but did not, therefore, you left and purchased the correct door as I continued working on the damages. When you returned you asked if I could also repair a broken window on the other attached rental unit and I gave you a good deal of $50. Once again I made the time to help you even though I had another customer scheduled that afternoon. Primarily because your renters had children and because you said you were a fellow veteran which you repeated often. For you to have 2 separate tenants with destroyed property and I helped and fixed these items for $300 total. I really believe you have misdirected your hostility towards me. I am sorry for your financial burden but I am not to blame. Your constant cursing and blatant disrepect for your tenants is appalling and I hope you resolve your issues instead of trying to sabotage someone's business reputation. I ALSO TOLD YOU I WOULD EMAIL YOUR RECEIPT AND THAT HAS BEEN DONE....."
