I got a 50 gallon water heater with expansion tank and drip pan installed for $1412, which is within the price range given by HomeAdvisor for my area. I was thinking of using Home Depot, but some of the reviewers were upset about the price charged ($2,400) after the installation. That means they didn't know what the price was before installation. After giving Valarie from Able Plumbing all the details about what I needed, she was upfront with the cost of $1412 with military discount. Bob the plumber that showed up was very professional and I could tell he knew what he was doing. Bob had Dylan, a trainee/helper, with him. They both answered my curious questions and explained what they were doing throughout the whole process because I kept on asking questions. I would highly recommend them for water heater installation.

They came out on a Sunday no extra charge. The office stayed in touch with me letting me know when to expect the technician. He was right on time, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend.

The quality of the work was good but they definitely were not honest with me at all!! I was told that the quote includes permit fees but then at the day of installation they said it did not. They promised that they were going to get me my permit but they keep deferring it to the future any time I follow up and I haven t got it yet. Very unprofessional
