Ricardo was on time, called me when he was on his way, and did a thorough job. When he removed the items from our bathroom, Ricardo even folded the towels! He cleaned up very well and our bathtub looks like new! Thank you, Ricardo! I'd hire you again.

Rafael and the Able Refinishing team brought our kitchen back to life by refinishing our cabinets and re-glazing the back splash. From day one the level of professionalism and skill exceeded expectation. The cabinet doors went to Rafael's workshop, so most of the work was done off-site. From start to finish, it was a pleasure dealing with Able Refinishing. Rafael and Gus were professional and knowledgeable. I received several estimates prior to contracting with them, most were lower bids. However, unlike many other companies, they specialize in cabinet refinishing and are not all purpose handymen. It was quite apparent early in the process that they were proficient in their trade, desired to please, and took pride in their work. The cabinets look beautiful! They have a hard original factory finish and look brand new. Only top quality professional grade products are utilized. The cabinet doors were removed and brought to their factory---not sprayed on the premises, which is another perk. In addition, the prep and masking was done meticulously, and there was no dust, odor, or paint splatters. I recommend Able Refinishing, without reservation, for kitchen cabinet refinishing. I interviewed several companies to reglaze my bathroom, and decided on Able Refinishing. Best decision! The job was better than my expectation, and my bathroom looks amazing.

Hired Rafael to bring my 14 year old bathroom up to date. That included reglazing my antique tub and sink, ripping out and replacing damaged baseboards, repainting waiscotting and regrouting the shower and floor. What was great was that he and his people could do the complete job so that, altho I originally found him for reglazing, he did the entire job and my bathroom looks spectacular -- and totall new. When he did the first pass over the clawfoot tub and sink -- they were from the '30s and had pitted a lot over the 14 years from the last reglazing -- it looked terrible. The glaze had sunk in and I thought that was it. He came back the next day, told me that that sometimes happened and it was not exceptible work for him, and he did it over. It was then perfect. When he pulled the baseboards off, there was mold behind the wall. We discussed it, and he applied a special cleaer and then a sealer so it wouldn't happen in the future. No extra cost. That was what was different abot working with him -- the original quote held, even when unexpected issues came up. I can't remember working with a contractor who didn't charge me extra when small problems rose on a job. By fixing problems and leaving me with a showroom perfect master bath -- at a surprisingly modest cost -- the job took 7 days, not 4 (drying time between processes), but workmen showed up every day until it was completely finished. I am very, very happy with the job he did and would recommend them without reservations.
