My project was the creation of a backsplash behind my stove, in an awkward location. Not only did the carpenter listen intently to my vision and find the perfect carved wood framing, but checked with me every step of the way as he bought the materials, built the perfect solution, which was aesthetically beautiful and fully utilitarian. He kept in mind costs, the matching of the wood frame with the existing wood in my kitchen, and the backsplash surface with my floor, the ease of cleaning, and the overall project.
