We charge on an hourly basis with no hidden fees (i.e. no mileage charge, no weekend or evening charge, no driver charge). All boxes and furniture were handled with care. Our 3 bedroom house was completely loaded in 4 hours and everyone was so polite and careful while loading. You cant beat the monthly rental rate from About the Move. The owner of this company is great to work with. We highly recommend About the Move.

I hired Joshua and they did a terrible job moving, I have damages to quite a few things, like they threw things around, they also did not put the boxes in the house and in the rooms where they were suppose to go, also my neighbor across the street said there were damages to their yard. I paid over $2100 feel I was overcharged, I last time I talked to the moving company they were very rude to me and since I have not heard from them about what they are going to do about the damages to my property

"We handled this move with punctuation and professionalism from mobile, al to south Florida over 1 and half months ago and just now hearing these accusations. I myself have tried being very cooperative and have not had the same in return. The charge was actually $$2700 and I knocked it down to $2100 but customer still unsatisfied. I feel she just wants the job done for free."

The company arrived to start 50 minutes late. The guys that were sent to move the items worked very hard and nonstop. With some pieces of furniture they took care to protect it and with other pieces did not. The guy that handled setting this up, gave me the final number at the end of the day which I paid. Later, I checked my receipt to notice he only deducted $50 from my final total for my deposit when I actually paid $100. All in all I would not recommend this company. I canât compare them to any other moving company because this was my first experience hiring a moving company, but wasnât very happy overall.

Had all kinds of damage on my quality furniture from not using the pads I had rented. Didn't tell me in advance about the travel time cost or fuel charge. Cost just under $600.00 for 2 movers for 2 hours.

They arrived late and I had to call them to find out what time they were arriving. They didn't store my belongings in a manner so I could access them. Everything was just thrown in with no order or organization. They scratched my floors and entry door frame and didn't have anything to repair the damages done. They wanted me to call the owner to let me know and work out a time to have someone come out to look at the damages. I was moving. That idea wasn't going to work.
