This project came out better than we had even imagined. From Day 1, Frank and his team were extremely prompt, kept open lines of communication at all times, and finished right on schedule. We are so happy with our finished basement. We would definitely hire Above All again!

I would not recommend Above All Inc. to anyone. Nor would I hire Frank again. We were recommended to him because of his fair pricing and his work. However, Frank takes on too many projects at one time and doesn't follow through on his promises. I have heard from his employees that they have been receiving complaints in the last year because he has taken on too many projects. He will tell you that his men are coming tomorrow and they will never show up. My project was supposed to take 3 weeks I'm currently on week 8 and it's going to take another two weeks. He will tell me he set an inspection date and he actually didn't and we would have to wait another week for it to happen. We spent our entire memorial day weekend painting to get it done for Tuesday because of inspection. Let me remind you we were scheduled to paint weeks before but since things didn't get done we had to paint on our holiday weekend. Tuesday morning came and we received a text that he actually didn't book the inspection and it will not happen for another week. I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating it is to work with him. He is not transparent at all. He forgets things you told him to do, and you have to be on top of him to get things done. Save yourself the headache and find someone who will actually show up.

This project was both one of the worst and best projects I have been a part of. When we initially planned the job I was quoted a timeline of approximately 3-4 weeks. The project ultimately took 12 weeks to complete. There were missteps along the way, like when the demolition crew swung a sledge hammer into the bathroom wall without having first turned off the water. The pipe which was broken resulted in a flood of my living room below it. As bad as that was, Above All stepped up and repaired the damage at no charge to me, also replacing the new sectional which was destroyed in the process. The ceilings were plaster however and rather than replacing the wet surfaces they were dried and simply painted over. At first I was okay with this because I was assured it would not be a problem but now that we are three months out the ceiling is starting to peel. There were also numerous times during the construction where things were installed incorrectly, the wrong product itself was installed and/or parts were simply missed altogether. For example, the shower was supposed to have a bench in it. As I watched the construction unfold I saw that the shower was framed and they were getting ready to start drywalling but there was no bench, when I asked at what point the bench gets built the foreman had no idea that a bench was supposed to be included. . . even though it was clearly in the plans. I had also asked for two wall niches for shower products and again, they were not constructed and the foreman was surprised when I asked about them. There were a number of days (more than not) that no one at all showed up to work, sometimes for days at a time, even though when I called and asked if someone was coming I would be told yes. When we finally got to a finished product the final product looked good, superficially, but upon closer inspection I saw a number of quality misses. Grouting between the tiles was sloppy in some spots, the quartz cill for the shower was installed (grouted in place and shower doors bolted into it) with the protective plastic covering still on the piece (I discovered this after the first shower when the plastic started to bubble and separate from the cill) and then discovered that the same had happened to the shelves in the niches. I removed the plastic myself (which was incredibly difficult to do after the pieces were in place) though to be fair, Above All did offer to come and do it for me. I told them no because at this point I just wanted to be done with the process. Unfortunately the GC rarely, if ever, actually came to the job site which is what I attribute all of these missteps and miscommunications to. I frequently found myself doing the job of the GC coordinating the team and relaying technical information to make sure things were done correctly. All that said, the product (with some tweaking from me) is what we wanted. I am happy with the bathroom and the employees themselves were always very friendl

Frank knows what he is doing. He works with you with new ideas and change requests and gives reasonable prices.

I hired Above All for a bathroom remodel. The workmanship was great and they were very flexible. We ended up making a few changes on the fly, and this was not problem. I also appreciated the fact that they were punctual. I would look to them again in the future if I need any additional work.

Frank is an excellent contractor to work with for homeowners. He is very knowledgeable and gets work done per needs of the homeowner. Very softly spoken, punctual and accountable. Frank offered me very competitive rates for my basement finishing and the finished basement came out excellent indicating good value for money. He is detail oriented and worked in my best interests suggesting what can be done for my projects. He understood my needs fairly quickly and his quote was very accurate. Did not go over the initial quoted costs. At the middle of my project, he adjusted for my upgrade requirements that I asked for without any hesitation. His workers are very reliable in terms of safety around the home and kids. They work late hours making deadlines happen if they have to. At one point of time, there were 10 people working in my basement to get ready for next day's carpet installation. Overall, I recommend Above All Inc, for your next construction project.

Above All was great. We hired them to redo a half bath. They paid close attention to details. I asked for some minor small alternations and they had no problem helping me out. I would hire them again.
