Rick was able to quickly provide a quote and install a new roof in under two weeks. The price was reasonable and the work done in one day. The workers did a good job cleaning the site once finished. I would recommend for someone looking for a reasonably priced and efficient contractor.

After receiving several outrageous quotes for my roof, I decided to go to HomeAdvisor. Shortly after submitting the request, I was contacted by Rick from AboveBoard with an estimate. Rick took time out of his weekend to visit with me and discuss the options and was extremely friendly and professional. A few days later, the work is completed and I am an extremely happy homeowner. Do yourself a favor and go with AboveBoard. You will not be disappointed!

The owner, Rick, was very quick to respond and I had an estimate and references emailed immediately, prior to scheduling an appointment. He addressed the questions I had about the scope of work and came out on a Saturday to take measurements of the skylights that had to be replaced. The job was scheduled the following week. I couldn't be at home that day, but Rick was onsite and sent pictures of the work in progress and texted me updates which were very reassuring. I got home as the crew was cleaning up and they left the yard immaculate. The roof and skylights look great and it's no longer raining in my house.

Rick's company replaced my roof, which included stripping four layers of old shingles. The also had to replace all the plywood. They completed this in two days. The work was done perfectly and they cleaned my property as well. Rick was always either an email or a tel e phone call away. He was very prompt in responding to my initial request.
