I would recommend Casey and his crew in a heartbeat. They did an amazing job on my sprawling ranch style house. Our roof was close to 30 years old and had a lot of damage underneath due to the trees and back. Casey gave me a reasonable quote and even told me what it would cost if he found more damage underneath than what he could see. His crew was awesome. They were all a bunch of down-to-earth, friendly guys. I'm so excited to have the job done and it looks amazing.

The roof turned out great, Casey was nice, and the crew was colorful. Slight knock on score because it did take 5 days longer than expected, 1 because of the way the roof was constructed, not their fault. But 2 days was the tile color he assured me was in stock (they wanted to start right away and I was concerned about this because of supply chain issues) he couldn't get from his regular supplier. They did get us the right color from somewhere else and I think had to hire a company to get it delivered but it was still 2 days where very little happened on the roof. I did appreciate that he didn't make us sit through a 2 hour sales pitch dithering about price, like I don't have the the internet and don't know what a reroof starts at lol but his initial interaction was a bit brisk. He gave us a fair estimate for the area and difficulty of the house and the final bill was actually less than what I expected given the unexpected issue. The quality of the roof install is top notch, the craftsmanship is high.

The workmanship looked shoddy. When I asked the owner about the quality, he was extremely rude and said he did not like his work being questioned. He then said I should not complain since he cut me a deal and the true cost should have been 3-4K more than what he bid. Unfortunately, that was just a big lie. Before I did the job, I got several bids and he was not saving me any money as he claimed. I asked for a bill with breakdowns of the prices and I had to ask twice for it. Also, asked for him to give me a written bid before doing work, which he did not do. Overall, the workmanship was just ok and the way the owner acted guaranteed I will not use them again. Have to wonder if I was a man, would have he talked to me the way he did?

A neighbor gave us a rave review of Above the Rest's work, and now I have a chance to add mine. They were up front about possible costs of hidden damage, and they were half the costs of other bidders. They were respectful of our space and even brought their own portable toilet. Efficient, friendly and affordable.

Not going to claim Iâ m the easiest customer to work with. I got his quote and to be more comfortable with it I got a couple others. He was polite and understanding through the process. Always prompt to respond and after looking into he was by a margin the most aggressive bid. Also quick on any question I had and communicated exact timeline including a class midweek that they would be at one day so I didnâ t wonder why they werenâ t there since he communicated it ahead of time. Would definitely recommend him for anyone getting a roof done

Could not ask for more. Arrived a week ahead of schedule, repaired section of rotted roof and re-did roof in about 20 hours. Crew worked hard in the rain and cleaned up everyday . Price was very good as well. Thank You!

Great quality of service.

the owner of the business was trying to take on too many jobs at the same time and therefore the job took longer. Also there was some lack of communication along the way. Otherwise they replaced the roof as per contract. However, I would still recommend them.

Would use them again

Above the Rest Roofing replaced our roof last week. Casey and his crew were a pleasure to work with, answered all of our questions and were very knowledgeable about their industry and our options. My husband and I have replaced roofs on several of the homes we have owned and Casey is by far the best roofing contractor we have had. We highly recommend ABOVE THE REST ROOFING.

Above the Rest Roofing & Construction truly lives up to their name, as they are top-notch. They did a complete roof replacement on our home earlier this week, and we are very happy with their work. Enterprising and quick to respond, Casey Lasley (the owner) called us within the first hour after we posted our request for recommendations from Home Advisor on their website. Within a day or two he was out to our house to look at the project, and he wrote a quote for us on the spot. He carefully discussed the different components of the roofing project, what the choices and their costs were, what components were predetermined by the roofâ  s pitch, etc., and what repairs might be needed if underlying damage was encountered (fortunately we had none), as well as describing quality choices for the asphalt shingles. He detailed these very clearly in his quote. He also followed up with email and photo samples to make sure we had plenty of opportunity to consider our color choice. When he got a scheduling break, he moved our project ahead two days so it was done ahead of schedule. His crew arrived on time and worked quickly, doing a beautiful job on the roof, and cleaning up carefully after themselves each day on the job. Mr. Lasley is able to be both businesslike and friendly. We felt that he genuinely cared about making the best-quality repair to our roof, he and his crew took pride in their workmanship, and he is nice to talk to, as well.

I recommend for any kind of roof work. They did a nice job.

I hired Casey and his team at Above the Rest for a tear-down and re-roofing of a 1,400 sq. foot home in the Fir Grove part of Eugene. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and his pricing was very competitive. At every step of the process Casey made himself available for answering questions and concerns. His crew were polite, well-mannered and hard-working. The job was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. They were thorough in their clean up after the job was complete. I would definitely recommend Above the Rest for your next roofing project!
