My name is Jeffery Abrams. I am the owner of Abrams Plaster & Remodel. Back in 1991, I started my business as “Abrams Custom Stucco and Shingle Roofing. Most of my work was in Highland Park, that was for the stucco and custom stone. My roofing business was all over Dallas/Fort Worth. I did very well and kept all 17 employees busy. Not being prejudice, but the Hispanics came in and was way cheaper than I could ever be, so I had to get out of that business before I went bankrupt. I then started up another business, “Abrams Plaster and Remodel. I am a LEGAL Contractor and my DBA papers are filed with the City of Dallas. I have been a resident of Garland, Texas since 1980. We initially hired Jeff to only do drywall in our garage and new laundry room but then discovered he also did electrical and plumbing which would save us from hiring multiple contractors. Of course he ran into unforeseen problems with our house but didn't try to nickel and dime us with extra charges. He did such a wonderful job at a great price that we asked him to immediately begin remodeling our bathroom and we'll have him continue remodeling our home until our home savings runs out. If you want someone who demands perfection in their work as well as those who work under him then Jeff is your guy but if you prefer quick, expensive and sloppy craftsmanship then you better find someone else.

They gave me a great quote and did a great job. I took wallpaper down in kitchen, nook, and master bathroom. They skimmed and textured walls in 2 days. I asked them to replace a door and frame and they also took care of that. Gave me instructions on what to do next before painting.

Abrams Plaster & Remodel did a fantastic job on my fence. They were able to work with me and provide good quality for the price. They are rough around the edges but provide good service. I recommend them and I would hire them again. And they were professional. Keep it up guys!

Jeff Abrams is a hands on craftsman who worked continuously on site along side his helper who was also very skilled. They layed flooring and re-did two bathrooms for us in a home we bought as a rental. This job involved stripping two bathrooms back to the studs and relocating a toilet. I wish I could post pictures On this review. We are delighted with the end result!

This is a real professional who doesn't take advantage of clients. He is very honest and I will highly recommend him to any one who has any construction or handy-man work done.

"Daniel and his wife were very nice people. I would definitely do more work for them in the future. He told me about the last guy that went out there and wanted half the money up front. The job was only $200. It was a water leak. The material bill was only $57. We ran into a few more issues but I stuck with my price."

Started great!! Hit a glitch,he went above and beyond fixing wiring issues He did not charge extra, he then knocked off some of the fees b/c I did the painting, but I paid him the full labor we originally agreed to,because I felt bad for the wiring issue.After the wiring issue was resolved,I heard Two more days at least 2 maybe 3 times!Then we got down to 3 hours.He said he would be at my house @10:40 AM, and he was still at my house @ 8PM!! Tried to get a hold of him 6 times. Left a lot undone. Hired someone else to finish what he started!Still fixing what he left. unprofessional disappointed

"It seems like every time I give somebody a good deal because I like them, they tend to give me a lower score. It kind of ruins it for everybody. I have pictures and all my work is of high quality. We cover everything up plus we do a complete cleanup. We make sure it looks like that we were never there. Oh well. I should have charged her more money including all the extras. Sometimes you do a job and it has hidden issues, it takes more time."

It was an under the kitchen sink cabinet floor replacement job. He was very courteous , professional and on time. Did an excellent job. I would gladly recommend him to my friends and hire him again in future. Would expect to have consistent quality work.

Jeffrey is really customer-service oriented and very flexible. He was quick to come out and assess my project and offer multiple solution options. He and his team started the job immediately, even working on a Sunday. They worked really hard and knew what they were doing. My old garage, with its rotten paper siding now looks brand new with invincible hardi board siding, and a new coat of paint to match the house. It looks great. And the whole crew are U.S. citizens. Imagine that.

"Don't know why I received a 4.0. The work was perfect. She picked out the crown molding. Of course the cheapest and the thinest. I didn't recommend it. That has to be the reason. Alsoit seems every time I give a good deal to people who claim they are on a budget, this is what happens. Sorry but no more special deals. My bid will have to stand. Ask all of my other clients about our work. References available upon request. I Will NOT be doing any future work for these homeowners."

Jeff was an absolute pro and knew exactly what he was doing. He had another job after mine but did not rush and stayed without any complaint until the whole job was up to his standards and mine. Not one bad thing to say about him. Gave me a more than fair price and even went out of his way to make sure I was 110% satisfied. Will definately recommend him to anyone needing any repair and call him back for any repair I may need.

"I give him credit for trying to install door frame. He just did not have the right tool. I charged him $75.00 because it was such an easy task, plus she was pregnant. Both young and getting on their feet. He paid me $100.00. Thank You Chris. I will do future work for them."
