With all understanding that COVID is affecting many people and businesses, I will say it was frustrating to work with this company. It took a long time to hear back about a part that needed to be ordered and understand that shipping is taking a while but it still seemed long. Finally, when we get a reply, there was one rescheduling the day of the appointment, two completely no-shows for an appointment, and the appointment they did show up for was 3 hours late. I understand it, this company might be running with a few people, but to ask someone to be home on a 4-hour window 3 times in a week and not even bother to tell you that they are not coming two of those times is just plain neglect. To put the icing on the cake, after it was *fixed*, the dryer still does not work. I will continue to post reviews anywhere I can until the problem is fixed as I paid for or I get a refund.

The job was started. They were paid in full and they have refused to complete the job or followup.

We called Absolute Appliance to come out and take a look at a leaking dishwasher. This was on December 5, 2020. Louie came out and quoted a price of $570.00. We agreed to the price and gave him the 50% deposit that was required ($285.00). At that time, he said he needed to order the part, which would take approximately one week to come in. The holidays came and went and no word. We called and were told that the whole family had covid, which put them behind. Of course, we all can understand that. We wished them well and asked that they let us know when they will be up and running to speed. My husband called several times, leaving numerous messages, which went unanswered. So that brings us to February. Calls and messages still are not being responded to. At this point, I took it upon myself to call the office just to see if they were open. I got the answering machine and left a message just leaving my first name and stating that I needed some work done. Well the very next morning, I got a call back from the office. I told her who I was and that I already have an order in and I need to know the status. She said she had to look into it and would call me back. No call back to this day. So I go on their website, hit the contact button, fill in all of the required information, with who I am, and how do I go about getting a refund. We are two months in at this point. Shortly after that, Louie contacted my husband with apologies and said they are up and running but not up to speed. We get that and understand how devastating covid is, but at this point, it has been two months and we both agreed to part ways. No hurt feelings. So we are waiting for a check to arrive. SURPRISE, no check. Near the end of February, my husband called once again and was told that the check was sent the previous Friday. We waited and waited and waited, still no check. So here we are in March, STILL NO CHECK with a leaking dishwasher. Buyer beware.

Tried to support this local business, but it did not end well. After Lou failed attempt at our washer repair (bearing replacement), we mutually agreed on reimbursement of our initial down payment, (paid upfront for the repair), minus his service fee. After multiple texts with the promise of a reimbursement check, to date (3 weeks later) we still have not received the promised refund. As end result, we needed to buy a new washer after Lou failed to attempt at repairing our working washing machine. We do not recommend Absolute Appliance, SVC due to its inability to complete the repair, but mostly due to him not fulfilling his promise of reimbursement. UPDATE: I posted this review on another website and we immediately got a text stating the check was in the mail ... that was 9 days ago, and still no reimbursement of the agreed-on amount was received. This business owner is not trustworthy on his promises.

After 3 weeks and $230, my refrigerator is still leaking. When I complained, was told I was being cut a break and they were doing us a favor. Sorry, I will not use this company again.

Louis takes the time to listen to your concerns as to what needs to be fixed. He gives a fair pricing amount and doesn't leave a mess when repairing your appliance.

Excellent communication through texting after I called to set up an appointment. The best way to describe Louie is he's just a normal guy who tells you as it is. Found and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Thanks Louie!

Scheduling was easy. The repairman was on-time, friendly and courteous. He diagnosed our problem promptly. The cost of the service call was quite reasonable.

We hired Absolute Appliance Service to replace a plastic dryer vent with a metal one. Louie arrived promptly, and was competent and professional. We thought we might need a replacement belt for the dryer but, after inspection, Louie advised us that it was unnecessary to do so, as the current belt was in fine condition; a cost savings. In addition, Pat, who scheduled our service, was awesome! Absolute Appliance Service will be our go-to provider for any future repair.

This is the second time I have used Louie and very satisfied with his work. They use text messages to notify you when they are coming and email/text your detailed receipt which is simple and convenient. Louie is very thorough in his diagnosticâ s and very knowledgeable. The big thing about Louie is he cares about his business and is a hard worker.

Louis was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a new board for my GE gas range. He expects it to arrive in a couple days and will call to schedule his return.

Louie, the owner, repaired my cloths washer exactly on time and at the agreed upon cost. He did an excellent job keeping me informed as to when the replacement part would arrive and when he planned on coming out to install it. Louis did a fine job and was right on time.
