We were able to buy a quality remote controlled awning that nearly provides shade for our entire patio.

Service person showed up 2 hours later than scheduled. Looked over unit and tested a few things that are standard in the service and changed filter. This cost me $150.00. Seems the cost outweighed the job. I feel like I paid 150.00 for a filter.

I got a better job last year for a lower price.

Andy on Call sub out there work to small job contracters that are registered with them. They are very responsive to your calls and want you to be satisfied with the job, which you pay for only when the job is complete. I found a problem after I had paid and they sent out the contracrer immediately to fix it.

Evidently there was a miscommunication about when the handy man would show up for the job, which left me waiting at home when I should have been at work. Though he showed up considerably later than expected, it was a pleasant surprise that he stayed late into the evening to finish the work.

The contractor they sent, claims that Andy on Call did not tell him the details of the job. I gave you very detailed comments. The contractor arrived w/o a ladder tall enough to complete the job. This resulted in him having to come back a second time. The response was quick and that was appreciated.

A little expensive but very prompt

They were prompt, and dependable. The work they did was awesome. I've already started recommending them to all my friends, and even to my real estate agent for future work. After I move into my next home, I will be using them again and again. Thanks Andy on Call and ServiceMagic for finding them.

A little expensive on certain "handyman services", i.e. hanging ceiling fans. They are quick on starting a project -- good to use if you need a project started almost immediately.

Was late arriving, but called to inform me of arrival status. Did a thorough job.

This rating is for the gutter work that was done, not the fence that I requested. The original appointment was cancelled, as was the one scheduled for the next morning. The workman who showed up as a replacement arrived 15 minutes after I was supposed to leave the house, which I mentioned several times. He was unable to provide an estimate on the fence, but ended up cleaning my gutters and replacing a roof vent, which had been blown off. I was not home when he did the work, but returned around 11:30 pm. The work was completed satisfactorily, but the side fence was left open (unable to see this unless you walk around the house), and the backyard water faucet was running full blast. Satisfied with the gutters and roof vent, very unhappy with the way the job was left. As I was not going to be home, I had to leave a check for the workman; therefore, there was no opportunity to discuss these issues prior to payment.

A little expensive, but I was in a hurry to get the job done. I would use their service again.
