"Thank you for your review and sorry for the service interruption. Like I explained to your grandson its standard procedure to shut off breaker to the water heater so the elements won't blow wheneverthe water is turned off. If the water drained down below the element it would have ruined the element. We would have needed to do that also if we were changing the water heater. I would recomend having a surge protector so that would not happen again and a electrician take a look at that issue with the main breaker."
