"Customer signed a contract for removal/ replacement of 49siding + exterior staining. However, on the first day of the job, the homeowner instructed my foreman to remove alot more siding + perform additional small projects. Homeowner signed an addendum to the contract to cover this additional work. When it came time to pay, homeowner disputed the additional amount (around $600) - even though an addendum to the contract was signed to cover the additional work."
"Customer contracted Acadia to install crown molding (installation only - customer had his own painter to complete finish work-caulk seams, fill nail holes, & paint). After starting the project, customer decided to lower the crown molding down 5 inches from the ceiling (normal with wood, abnormal with wide foam crown the customer wanted). Although we repeatedly explained to Mr. R that dropping the foam crown 5" was not recommended by the manufacturer and fully explained the shortcomings, he insisted we make the change. Upon completion, the homeowner was unhappy with the results-although he had been fully informed before installation."
