Accentuate Walls

We were very Lucky to find Richard of Accentuate Walls. We started a journey of renovating our small powder room thinking it would be a quick project. When it came to finding someone to wallpaper, we really had a hard time. 3 contractors came in and 3 contractors ghosted us. After doing a google search we found Richard. His extensive knowledge of wall prep and wallpaper hanging was an eye opener to us because our 200 year old powder room needed so much prep. Richard not only took care of every issue but he also guided us on the quality of the wallpaper and waited for us to reorder when our first choice did not work out. Not only were we impressed with Richards work, his work ethic, we were impressed with him. He is a true gentleman and we consider him our new friend. I look forward to starting a new project because I know who I am going to call next time. Thank you Richard

He does excellent work at a fair price. He put up wallpaper in a very small half bath and did a perfect job of matching the paper. He also fixed two long cracks and painted my dining room ceiling. The ceiling is perfect. When he finished the work he did such an excellent job of cleaning up that I did not have to do a thing. I have no problem in recommending him to anyone who wants to quality work manship at a fair price

Richard is beyond amazing! He is passionate about his work and went through the complete job and pointed out imperfections that I had not noticed. He explained to me that once the walls were scored and re-plastered I would have a smooth flawless wall with no cracks any longer. I was a little skeptical as I had been taken advantage by another Painter. Richard not only proved the quality of his work and craftsmanship. As we spoke, I pointed out other things that I was unhappy with, and he smiled and said that?s not a problem. Once it?s properly caulked you will not see that and again he was correct. He is not only passionate about his work, prepping the area and cleaning up were also 100%. He totally changed my perspective and I can?t wait to have him back to do more painting! This tradesmen has truly been excellent! In addition to the deck painting, he also provided repair of spindles and areas where there was some minor rotting. He also did an interior job for us. His workmanship was terrific. He was very careful to ensure that there was no damage done when working for us. His demeanor was more than SO nice. He is a pleasure to work with and was very fair on his pricing.

Richard Buxenbaum is skilled and knowledgeable on the lost art of plaster veneer and is a true craftsman. He is respectful of historic buildings and true to their original design. He does not try to convince you to update or modernize things the way so many people do. He listens to his clients, offers helpful tips when appropriate and really wants to do the job they want. I would definitely hire him again.
