"Jerrud- This was a learning experience for both of us. We don't make more money when projects take longer than expected. We loose money. Never again will we allow a customer to hire a friend, family member or neighbor to do any portions of our contracted work. We learned friends, family members and neighbors are unreliable. When such people work for family, friends or neighbors, they consider the project to be a side job. This is not a side job for us. We work 10 hour days on average. Waiting for a side job contractor (that more than likely is not a contractor) who doesn't show up or only works an hour or two at a time turns a 2 to 3 day task into weeks. Much of our delays were due to multiple contractors under your supervision. Your Painter, painted unfinished walls, without checking with us to see if they were ready. Still in the drywall finishing stages. A painter would have known the walls were not ready and not painted them. Painting the unfinished walls required us to bring in 3 guys and power sand all the walls for nearly a week. In fact not once did any of your helpers communicate with us to coordinate anything. We never once saw them on the job. We believe the responsibility goes both ways. We thought we worked things out. We discussed the situation. We upgraded your doors from MasterCraft Hollow core doors ($150 each) to Waudena Doors ( $600 each). We gave you $2400 in door and trim upgrades, discounted cabinets and countertops, labor discounts and negotiated final payment. We also ended up painting everything ourselves as well (another out of pocket cost for us). We corrected all the issues pointed out to us during two final walk throughs. Took photos of the completed project together. We thought we left on good terms. We were wrong. This is not the outcome we were looking for. Team ACC"

"Barb- Sorry for the confusion. I see the installers logged 2 hours each. For a total of 4 man hours to drive to, complete your project and clean up. You were only charged for 1 hour each to complete your project. Most companies charge a trip charge, service call charge or have a minimum charge. We do not charge for any of those things. We only charge for actual time working when we do a Time and Material work order. Team ACC"
