I purchased a hot water heater from Accurate One and it is in need of service (it is making odd noises). I scheduled service, and was told the service person would arrive between 9 am and 1pm. At 1pm no one had arrived and I called and texted about this, since no one had called about a delay. When my call was finally returned I was told it would be 3:30 when the service person would arrive. At 3:30 no one had arrived or called. When I was finally called back I was told that it would still be a while before any service person would arrive, if they could get there the same day. The person on the call was rude and seemed to think I was unreasonable to expect that appointments would be kept.

I've had bad luck with plumbers in the past so I was very happy with this company. I had a fairly simple problem which turned out to be more complicated because the plumbing was so old but the technician knew exactly how to handle the problem. Plus he was able to work me into the schedule in a very timely manner. I will definitely use this company again.

I have been in the Palm Springs Valley as a homeowner and renter for 30 years. This is the first contractor who showed up at the time they indicated and the price was as quoted before the job. Excellent Service

What a disaster! When I hired Dave to replace two water heaters in my home I was very much looking forward to an excellent job. Unfortunately, during the installation he carelessly bumped into and completely destroyed an important piece of ceramic art valued at $1500. As a former art gallery owner it had been an important piece of my art collection since 1979. This unique piece was made by a well known American studio artist for the 1978 Ceramics National Exhibition. He apologized for the accident but has been unwilling to share fairly the cost of replacement; offering only $100. Since the incident, he has refused to reply to any of my communications about compensation for the broken piece. This is clearly unprofessional and disappointing. I expected him to accept his responsibility for what happened!!!

David seems to be a jack of all trades, he helped me with other projects around the house other than my air conditioning. He was on time, he's very polite, and accommodating.

I prefer an itemized estimate and invoice which was not provided. Hence a lower rating on value for the money.

Two major concerns. Sales tactics are poor. Person answering the phone quotes job at $100, Home Advisor site suggests $253 -$353, he arrives smiling and fast-talking and says about $500, probably to “test the waters”. Seeing I was not pleased, he immediately asks if I am a senior (would not have mattered what I answered since I am not a senior) and before I can answer proffers a 30% discount, leaving the final balance with all charges North of $400. I explained that was 4x higher than the phone quote and $100 above the HA average. He quickly and poorly explained why those quotes were outdated or blah blah and asked to meet me halfway, still leaving a price higher than the maximum HA estimate. I had no time to haggle further and agreed to hire him. He was able to mysteriously find the needed parts much faster than what he anticipated and within an hour texted me and let me know if the job was done. The part was no doubt in his truck or right down the street at the local Home Depot. My second and equally important reason of why I will not use this company again is I asked for a bid on additional work. I needed a split mini added to one of my rooms. He promised to call back. I received that call finally after 8 PM that night while I was busy. He promised to call the next day and never did. So nice on phone, nice in person, however price-gouging antics unacceptable and lack of follow-thru inexcusable.
